A very lovely restaurant with good food, good prices and friendly service. Most of the food on the menu is not exactly very Finnish, but I guess it's all adjusted for a Japanese palette. The pannukakku though was very authentic and reminded me of home.
View on GoogleOrdered the Salmon and the Borsht from the lunch menu. Borsht was hearty and well cooked, while the Salmon was crispy while soft on the inside. Atmosphere was quaint 👍
View on GoogleJapan’s cafes are a paradise for food lovers, for those who love attention to flavours and appreciate quiet places to dine. Pappu cafe offers good Nordic food options and the chef’s are friendly and welcoming! Try the Salmon - crispy and the chocolate cake with gelato for dessert! Do check it out. The place has a children’s quaint story book kind of vibe with small animal decorations. You might need to walk a bit for public transport connectivity and the area is quiet in the afternoon. 4 star just because Japan offers hard competition in good food xD
View on GoogleAs a finnish person visiting Japan, i didn't expect to stumble upon a nordic themed cafe. The food was great, the service very friendly and i had an overall great time :)
View on GoogleQuite nice finnish cafe/restaurant. Recommend salmon soup with bread.
