We went there for lunch on weekday. The clients keep coming but not crowded at all. We had warm udon and cold soba. The taste is decent. There are cat decor and sign everywhere in the restaurant. The lady also gave me the pickles she made. Very sweet local place.
View on GoogleA delicious soba restaurant with a comforting taste, loved by the locals. I drop in now and then, and it's delicious every time. I recommend the seasonal soba. You can enjoy various flavors, such as oyster soba in winter and fried eggplant with grated daikon in summer. The sets are very generous and leave you full. I also like the kenchin soba. Both the soba and broth are delicious and well balanced. The proprietress and chef are cheerful and very nice people. They sometimes run out of soba by around 2, so if you want some, I think it's best to go at opening time.
View on GoogleI recommend the tendon for a very filling lunch set! The mysterious black sauce was delicious too, which was a relief lol The refreshing fried eggplant soba is also fantastic in summer😃 I like the grated daikon😊
View on GoogleA soba restaurant in Nakaitabashi. Apparently the set menu is recommended✨ Very generous portions◎ This time I ordered tanuki soba (cold) and tendon with less rice. The soba was firm and fantastic!!! The tendon sauce was rich and delicious〜🫶🏻 Definitely coming back!
View on GoogleA local soba restaurant With its fairly strong broth, it's just what you'd expect from a soba shop in the town of Edo. They always keep the place clean too. There aren't many seats, so you may have to wait depending on the timing, but turnover is quick. Maybe only when it's quiet, but they sometimes let you choose between takuan and nukazuke. I can't finish the sets, so I always order soba or a rice bowl on its own, but the sets are definitely a good deal for big eaters! The photo is oyakodon. Cash only.
