An eat-in space in one corner of the sales floor on the 2nd floor of “板橋南町22”, one of Muji's (無印良品) largest street-front stores in the Kanto region. It's fine for stylish young women or young couples, but for a middle-aged guy like me, the vibe is a little unsettling (lol) Anyway, as of June 2023, it's a shame there are so few menu options. The only things that could count as a main meal are the “hamburg steak bento” plus two burgers (“cheeseburger” and “teriyaki rice burger”)… wait, including the bento, it's all hamburg steak! Hambaaa~guuu‼︎ (lol) Since it's just simple chairs and tables set up in a corner of the sales floor, maybe it was never meant to be a place for a full meal in the first place, but I'm not asking for a lunch plate, I'd just be happy if they had curry at least… (they say if you ask, they'll heat up the retort curry or packaged rice sold in the store… but it's kind of hard to ask… sweat. In that case, I wish they'd just put it on the menu from the start…) Following the above, I visited again after almost a year. I'm grateful there are more burger options than last time, but payment is still cashless only, which is a hassle for cash people (sweat)

I enjoyed a tasty meal in the spacious store. The deli items and bento looked delicious too. The hot drinks were super cheap and tasty, I loved them. The chai is 150 yen. The monthly bento is ready at 11:00 and 15:00.

Apparently it's closing in November 2025. Closing sale from 11/7 It's such a shame it's closing, since it was a precious store, the only one in and around Tokyo where you could eat Muji's original ice cream in-store

The cheeseburger was delicious👍️ The thick, tsukune-like meat with tomato🍅, lettuce🥬, and cheese🧀 went together really well! The café space was spacious too, so I could relax☺️

The 板橋22バーガー🍔 is delicious, with a thick patty that has a handmade feel
