Very cheap and fulfilling as expected of a soba shop. The owner is really scary though as he watches you while you eat. There’s no beer though, so you have to get your alcohol fix somewhere else.

The カレーラス for 650円 was delicious. I also wanted to order soba for 500円, but it was busy, so I'll leave it for next time. 親子丼 800円

But apparently serving noodle dishes is difficult, so it seems to be rice dishes only! 20240119 There was a sign saying they were closed because of a broken bone. Until when, I wonder? Around 11:50 on Wednesday, I chose a seat I liked and sat down. Water and tea are self-service from the beverage dispenser. Besides soba, there are ramen and rice bowls too. The mini gyudon set for 900円 includes soba and a rice bowl. An old-fashioned neighborhood soba shop. Cash only, of course.

I went for the first time. So they don't have tempura, huh.

The atmosphere and staff service were very good, but I felt the taste was slightly below other shops. This time I ordered katsudon and mori soba. The katsudon had a lot of rice and slightly burnt katsu; it wasn't bad, but I couldn't call it delicious either. The soba had little aroma, and the dipping sauce felt sweet, so I wasn't very eager to keep eating. Still, for all this, katsudon at 700円 and mori soba at 450円 seem cheap, even after the price increase.
