This place has amazing ramen, I’ve only tried their spicy miso ramen and regular ramen but both are always great. Spicy miso is my favorite. I also have a friend who swears by their tsukemen. Definitely give them a try if you’re in the area, the staff has always been kind to us and we’ve become regulars at this point!

There are many ramen and tsukemen shops around Oyamadai Station on the Tobu Tojo Line to Itabashikuyakushomae Station on the Toei Mita Line, but I like the tsukemen here the best. The noodles are the 'tsurushiko' (smooth and chewy) type, so personally, they aren't my absolute favorite, but the dipping sauce is a complex soy-based broth that is perfectly balanced, and I think it's the best tsukemen dipping sauce I've ever had. (As a base, it feels a bit like Marucho in Mejiro.) So, for me, the noodles are just the opening act, and the main event is finishing the dipping sauce after adding soup stock (soup-wari) haha. If they had grated garlic available, I think the taste would go beyond perfect, so I really hope they provide it. The price has been increasing little by little, but I still think this is a tsukemen shop with great value for money. The photo shows the Chashu Tsukemen medium portion for exactly 1,000 yen, which comes with 3 thick slices of chashu and is very filling. In the past, you would even get change back from 1,000 yen. Thinking about it, you could say it was too cheap back then. It's a counter-only shop, and since COVID, it has been partitioned with transparent acrylic boards. So, I think it's better to come alone and relax rather than coming in a group so you can focus more on the tsukemen. Even if you go outside of meal times, the shop is rarely empty, but it's not like there's a long line either, so it's very convenient.
