August 2024 I visited with the aim of having quail hot pot and seafood. The signature quail hot pot has a deep, exquisite broth, and the landlady carefully made the porridge (zosui) at the end, so I was very satisfied. The taste warmed both body and soul. As for the seafood, especially the steamed abalone with sake, it was tender and full of flavor. However, for the sashimi platter, both in terms of appearance and content, I felt that 3,000 yen was a bit overpriced. It's a pity that the parboiled conger eel (hamo) I wanted to eat was already sold out. Nevertheless, overall, it is a place with a calm atmosphere where you can fully enjoy hot pot and seafood.
View on GoogleI've been curious for a while, but I had an image that it was a bit exclusive, so I hadn't gone... but I went! It was very delicious. It's run by an elderly couple, and the landlady is, believe it or not! Wearing a kimono with a kitchen apron (kappogi)! In addition to the basic menu, there are also seasonal menus, which is very good! Very delicious! Hot pot, which is a basic menu, can also be ordered from 1 serving, the broth is delicious, and I was able to enjoy it until the porridge (ojiya) at the end. There is also a tatami room (kotatsu), and they were very attentive to customers with children, so we were able to spend time comfortably. However, there is only one regrettable thing... the carbonation in the highball and shochu soda is extremely weak😢
View on GoogleQuail hot pot is the signature dish. There are also sardine meatball hot pot and mizutaki. Since the cooking is handled by the master (male owner) alone and the floor service is handled by the landlady alone, it seems like it would be very difficult when it's crowded. The serving of food becomes spaced out, so the tempo of the meal drags on. That said, the food is generally delicious, so rather than seeking service like in the city center, one should probably enjoy it leisurely as a local shop in the suburbs. Cashless payment is supported. Air Pay is installed, so almost all payment methods can be used.
View on GoogleSorry, this photo was taken after I had eaten quite a bit. I have long liked the shrimp shinjo here. Since my knees hurt, I also enjoyed the quail mince (with bones), which was also delicious.
View on GoogleI went because quail hot pot is rare, and it was indeed delicious. Thank you for being kind to us. The fugu skin served as an appetizer on a fugu plate was interesting. I will go again.
