Entered at lunch time in May. Atmosphere like a city cafeteria. The menu has several types of set menus. Regular menu and daily menu. I chose pork onion ginger stir-fry (photo), the senior who accompanied me chose squid fry (no photo). Pork onion is quite voluminous... if it's a young person, maybe they can eat it without any problems. What was surprising was the squid fry! 3 large fries were quite voluminous. The taste is not outstanding, but for 880 yen, it's totally okay!

December, Saturday, visit around 12 o'clock. There are counter seats, table seats, and tatami rooms. The inside is very spacious. The location is what it is, but the inside was crowded with customers. I felt that this is a very popular shop that is loved by the neighborhood. I ordered pork onion ginger stir-fry 850 yen. Quite voluminous for the price and very delicious.

Motsu tofu set 850 yen. On a weekday Tuesday, I planned to go to the Itabashi Ward Local History Museum and Tokyo Daibutsu, so I left the house to fill my stomach before that. Actually, I intended to go to a nearby curry shop that I had been interested in for a long time, but unfortunately, it was closed that day. While feeling a little disappointed with the unexpected development, I changed my mood because I was out, and decided to look for another shop on the way to the museum. As I walked slowly towards the museum, a cafeteria that retained an old-fashioned atmosphere suddenly caught my eye. The wooden sliding doors and handwritten menu list felt atmospheric, a shop whose warmth could be felt from the outside. Although it had just opened, half the seats were already filled, and the atmosphere of being loved by the locals was conveyed. I thought a shop like this wouldn't be wrong, so I entered without hesitation. What I ordered was 'Motsu Tofu Set'. Because it was a very cold day, it was perfect for the mood of wanting to eat warm food. The motsu tofu that was brought, although it had a simple appearance with steam rising, when I took one bite, I knew it was made very carefully. The motsu had no smell at all, was boiled until tender, and the large-cut ingredients were very satisfying. The flavor soaked in, and the white rice kept going. The small bowl was dried radish and takana vegetables with the scent of sesame oil spreading. Both felt homemade but were strongly seasoned, a good balance to highlight the main motsu tofu. Overall, the taste made me feel nostalgic, and although it was my first visit, there was a sense of security like 'returning home'. After finishing the meal and heading to pay, the staff asked 'what did you eat?', I answered 'motsu stew!' and paid 850 yen, leaving the shop with a satisfied feeling. My footsteps were light as I started walking towards the destination museum. If there was a shop like this near my house, I would definitely come often and conquer all the menus in order, a shop that makes me think so. A shop I entered by chance this time, an unexpected small discovery that betrayed expectations in a good sense.

📺 Broadcast on the TV Tokyo 🚕 Takuuma program. About a 10-minute walk from Nishitakashimadaira Station on the Toei Mita Line. A cafeteria isolated in a residential area, run by a married couple🐷🧅. Ordered pork onion ginger stir-fry (880 yen). 🍚 The rice is plenty, the ginger stir-fry is full of volume, the softness of the bite is delicious & cold tofu & miso soup were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I enjoyed it. Today is ginger pork exploration. If there is a shop that is isolated in a residential area and has a high rating, I have to visit. Because it's a place where public transport cannot be expected, visiting by car... one-way streets etc. look easy but are quite difficult. The entrance is a bit heavy for a timid person, but I gathered the courage to enter... inside the shop there is a tatami room and it turned out to be spacious, because I was alone I was at the counter... the menu seems to be only what is written on the small blackboard, but today ginger pork is the decision. Looking around the shop... a married couple? managing it with a good feeling. Seeing the busy owner always scooping rice~ and while watching, the bowl arrives! The meat is large and tender, the ginger is not felt, but the sauce is well-absorbed and the rice goes. A customer who seemed to be a regular customer who came later ordered meat vegetable add? Add? While eating while looking to the side, the rice is a large portion... If I come often and can order meat add, rice large portion... They prepare a parking lot for customers nearby.
