Traditional Japanese food in a renovated traditional Japanese (machiya) house for a good price.
View on GoogleI noticed this shop when Tsukaji-san visited for standing soba, and I thought it was a shop with a very good atmosphere. First visit on a Saturday in late March. Visited around 14:30. No previous customers. It seems to be the type of shop that makes onigiri after you order at the storefront. Indeed, the ability of onigiri is best shown by the simple shio-musubi (salt rice ball), so I ordered shio-musubi, and the rest was oyako-musubi (salmon & sujiko). This shio-musubi is very delicious. I ate it at dinner time so it had been a while, but even though it was cold, the rice grains still had texture and chewiness, it felt like an onigiri from a rice shop. The salt also seems to be carefully selected. This shio-musubi is recommended. Oyako-musubi is also delicious because the base rice is good, so the combination of salmon and sujiko can't be wrong. The staff's service was also good, and they kindly allowed me to take pictures of the menu. Bento and individual side dishes also looked delicious. I will visit again.
View on GoogleI was invited by an acquaintance to eat at a nearby shop, Since it was my first time in this area, I walked around the shopping street, I found a building with a very atmospheric feel and decided to enter. It seems they used to be able to eat in, but now they say it's only for takeout bento and onigiri. I bought a grilled onigiri for 50 yen that was on sale And cookies that looked healthy called vegetable rice flour cookies. Next time I want to come to eat bento too.
View on GoogleA shop where you can buy handmade bento. I didn't think it was delicious enough to line up for. The price is high, and the taste is average.
View on GoogleOn Sunday afternoon, I ordered the salmon saikyo-yaki noriben. Since there were no previous customers, I was able to receive it without waiting too long. The volume was more than I thought, and it was delicious.
