The exhibition materials are a bit old and worn out but everything except the planetarium is free, and even that is just 350¥ for adults and 120¥ for kids, so it's a great place for kids to experiment with science and astronomy for the first time. They also do workshops and special events sometimes, it's worth keeping an eye on their website for those.
View on GoogleFree admissions fee! Especially for children. Prolly not designed for adults. B1 floor is fun but other floors are somewhat dull… Most attractive B1 floor opens from 13:00 on Weekdays, which should be on the web site as a notable reminder since many people would miss it.
View on GoogleNot only you can learn about stars, but you can also see the real dinosaur bones! It's amazing that it's free even though it's a precious place where you can see Hokkaido stones...! (There is a fee for the screening of the planetarium.)
View on GoogleIt’s free. But most of the exhibits are 20+ years old and several of them are broken.
View on GoogleThere is a nice planetarium that shows movies and there are many events for kids. It is close to central library so this area is great to visit on a rainy day.
