I visited for lunch on a holiday. Because there was a restaurant I really liked nearby, I had always passed it by until now... but now I truly regret not having gone before. This time I searched for "Mapo Tofu" and this shop came up. I visited immediately and had the "Jiru-nashi Tantanmen" (soupless tantanmen) and "Sichuan Mapo Tofu Rice (small)". There were quite a few customers, but the moment I entered the shop, my instinct said, "Ah, this might be a hit." The seasonings on the table and the menu composition, which was unified with the Sichuan style, raised my expectations. First, for the "Jiru-nashi Tantanmen", the crunchiness of the vegetables like bean sprouts, the chewiness of the noodles, and the aroma of sesame were exquisitely intertwined, and it was delicious without complaint. In the second half, I changed the flavor with the black vinegar on the table, and this was also excellent. This is what you call double the pleasure. I kept it modest this time, but next time I want to have it in a large portion. And the "Sichuan Mapo Tofu Rice (small)"──a Sichuan-style mapo with a solid spiciness, and it goes perfectly with rice. When I asked the staff if I could have this as a main dish, they said there is a single Mapo Tofu dish on the dinner menu. I must go again at night! While eating, I broke into a sweat, but the door of the shop was left open, and the wind from outside blew in comfortably, giving a refreshing feeling that cannot be described. Not only the food, but the atmosphere of the whole shop was very much to my liking, and it was truly a shop that made me think "I should have come sooner.

🍜Menu ordered 【Tantanmen (Sichuan Black Sesame Tantanmen)】 (※I am writing this assuming the type of tantanmen ordered is "Sichuan Black Sesame Tantanmen") The moment I took a sip of the soup, I was moved, thinking **"Anyway, it's super delicious!"**! It has the richness and creaminess of black sesame, while the spiciness of chili (la) and the numbness of Sichuan pepper (ma) are very effective, making it a truly authentic taste. The thick soup clings well to the medium-thick curly noodles, and it was an addictive dish that made the spoon unstoppable even while I was sweating. The deep umami within the spiciness is the best! 【Set Mapo Rice (Sichuan Mapo Small Bowl)】 What I ordered with the tantanmen was the set mapo rice! Sichuan Mapo Tofu is poured generously over rice, and the spicy kick and thickness are exquisite. The compatibility between this mapo tofu and rice is truly wonderful, and it's a different kind of deliciousness from the stimulating spiciness of the tantanmen, so ordering the set was a great decision! The mapo rice, which is also perfect as a single dish, is the strongest combination that makes your hands unstoppable as you eat it alternately with the tantanmen! For those who want to experience authentic numbness and umami, and want to enjoy delicious mapo rice with tantanmen, please visit "Menmen Hatenko"!

I've visited several times, and whatever I eat, it's never a miss and always delicious. There is a counter and several tables for 2. I've had various spicy noodles. My impression is that they don't run to extreme spiciness, but value the taste. (There are also many types that are not spicy) Cashless OK. Soupless Tantanmen 930 yen (all tax included) Crunchiness of vegetables and deliciousness of minced meat, and Sichuan pepper and various spices make it delicious. So this is how you use fried onions (I've only used them for salads). The noodles are chewy. Although it's rich, it's not oily, so it didn't make my stomach feel heavy. Ma-la Tangmen 850 yen The explanation is a simple ramen with homemade Ma-la-jiang. Maybe this is the spiciest one I've had here? There is sliced stewed pork (kakuni) on top, and this is delicious. I want to refill this... Refreshing yet spicy soup, thin noodles, naruto, seaweed, and green onions. It looks red because there is red spicy oil on top. Kakuni Tantanmen 1080 yen Tantanmen with thick stewed pork on top. The kakuni here is really delicious. The meat part is moist, the fat part (is there tendon too?) is chewy and not cloying. It's hard to explain, but the spices are effective and the meat taste is strong? The tantanmen part is a rich soup with plenty of Sichuan pepper and sesame and chewy noodles. The minced meat on top also tastes good. Even though I want to reduce salt intake, the soup is delicious and the spoon won't stop. Cold Tantanmen 1300 yen On top of chewy noodles, there are plenty of vegetables. Daikon, carrot, cucumber, tomato, bean sprouts, purple onion, bean sprouts. Amazing variety. Plus spicy miso minced meat, fried onions, and seasoned egg. Not too spicy, a little sour and sweet? Although it's rich, maybe because there are plenty of vegetables, it's refreshing. Ah, delicious. Sichuan Mapo Tofu Rice (small) 200 yen Can be ordered if you order noodles. Although it says Sichuan, it's not as spicy as I thought. Rather, it's a rich and thick mapo tofu. It's not salty, but it goes well with rice and is delicious. I'm happy to be able to eat it for 200 yen. Annin Tofu 380 yen It's super delicious. If you like Annin Tofu, you can go just for this. Concrete is ice cream that looks like concrete. It's generous and rich. Delicious.
