Very local and classic ramen! Solid and Love it! Chef was very kind and there are always some ‘regulars’ which make all scene kinda nostalgic. We recommend Shoyu ramen(soy sauce-base), Miso ramen.
View on Google3.5/5. Simple classic shoyu ramen, cute uncle and cute interior.
View on GoogleI discovered this place on my way back from viewing a property that cannot be rebuilt in a back alley in Yayoicho. The curtain was pulled to the right, so I figured it was open and went in. I ordered a large chahan, and it was packed with ingredients like gomoku chahan. The familiar flavor of chemical seasoning was delicious in that old neighborhood Chinese restaurant way.
View on GoogleThe wonderfully nostalgic atmosphere reminds me of my grandparents' house. The flavors are light and somehow nostalgic too, and everything you order is delicious. The best part is watching the elderly owner light the stove with a match. So cool.
View on GoogleAfter reading the reviews here, I thought, that's right along my usual work route! I worked up the courage (haha) to visit, and since then I've stopped by occasionally when work finishes around lunchtime. At first I thought it might be hard to enter as a woman on my own, but the elderly owner turned out to be sooo kind and always gives me a warm welcome. The owner and the regulars who are sometimes there tell me all kinds of stories about the good old days in Itabashi. It's a friendly, approachable place. I've tried several dishes, but gomoku chahan is my current favorite. At first I didn't even know which door to enter through, but the owner says any door is fine (haha). Apparently he no longer hangs up the noren because it became tattered. He said they're open when the curtains inside are open. It feels like a place that's been loved by the neighborhood for many years.
