I was surprised to learn that Fukushin uses British pork belly. This is not a place for luxury dining, nor does it try to be. What it does offer is something far more authentic: the kind of comforting, reasonably priced Chinese-style food that countless Japanese people enjoy in their everyday lives. For British travelers, there is a certain charm in knowing that pork raised in the UK may have crossed half the world only to return as part of a delicious meal in Japan. If you're curious about how ordinary people actually eat here, Fukushin is well worth a visit.

View on GoogleI had a meeting in Shimo-akatsuka, then went to 福しん afterward!! It's in front of Popo by the station, a 1-minute walk from Shimo-akatsuka Station~ I like 福しん's mapo ramen and eat it often♪ It's on the sweeter side, which I personally love!!! The mapo ramen and half-portion chahan will definitely fill you up, but the price is super cheap〜⭐︎ The half-portion chahan has just the right subtle saltiness and is really delicious. I'm curious about the 1-kilo chahan for 1380円 posted on the wall haha
View on Google【Repost】 Visited in May 2024 I went on the day of the 100円 gyoza sale near the end of the month. I had tonkotsu ramen and 3 plates of gyoza! Eating this much for under 1000円 is a great deal! 福しん's chili oil is mildly spicy and goes well with tonkotsu ramen too!
View on GoogleI had lunch at “福しん” in front of the north exit of Shimo-akatsuka Station. I often visited this chain when I lived around Ikebukuro, but hadn't been for a while recently. I added “味玉 130円” to the limited-time “まぜそば 780円”, and also had the “半チャーハン餃子セット 540円”. Since the “まぜそば” already came with an onsen egg by default, the seasoned egg might have been unnecessary. It was simply tasty. Thanks for the meal. *Ordering is now done on a tablet, which gave me the impression that the atmosphere has changed quite a lot from the old “福しん”.
