The oldest arcade in Japan, probably in the World. The machines look as if they were from the 60s or older and they’re so so so terrible, they are ironically great! I recommend that all fans of arcades and gaming would come over, see the location and experience the games!
View on GooglePretty cool small sample of working "Dagashiya Games" from the past, long before game centers. A ¥300 entrance fee gets you about 10 game tokens that work on most of the games. Could use a larger selection of "Dagashi.
View on GoogleWent on a Sunday in September 2025. If you are a fan of mechanical games, then this place is a gem. There were about 20 to 30 playable games, but the owner said he had 100 in his collection that he rotates. The games were challenging for sure, but there was enough variety to keep it interesting. I spent about 90 minutes there. So glad I did, worth every yen/penny. Make sure you ask the owner which games are played with 10 yen, and which games use “metal” tokens. (The fact that there were two coin types confused me at the beginning.)
View on GoogleNice find, as far as obscure vintage museums go. The games are all functional, as far as I saw. Low price to get in, games are around 10-20¥ each. I was about to venture way out of Tokyo to see something similar and found this right near me in itabashi. Best to go on a week day, as a big group of kids can come in randomly on a weekend.
