The theme changes by season. This time it's Otomodachi. People slam it for being cheap overall and short, but what are they talking about. That's what's good about it. The gimmicks and scares, like the nostalgic old-fashioned air-powered ones, make it a very old-school haunted house. I think the interior and gimmicks will really hit home for people who like places such as Maboroshi Hakurankai in Izu. It was right up my alley.

It's fun, but maybe not worth a roughly thirty-minute wait even on weekdays. For the 10th anniversary the theme is the Legendary Churros, but for some reason there were only oni that had nothing to do with it at all,

Visited on 2025.9/3. 【Theme】 This time's theme is Shinode Nikki (死綴日記), set up so that the protagonist, having accidentally read a cursed diary at a secondhand bookstore, goes to the mansion of the woman who owned the diary to return it to her desk drawer in order to lift the curse. According to the website, the theme seems to change periodically. 【Impressions】 My honest impression is that it wasn't scary at all. There was no thrill or spine-tingling feeling whatsoever. It felt like a nostalgic old-time haunted house, with just a few ghost dolls appearing and no people. To put it harshly, it's only a notch above a school festival. The staff's explanations were polite and I can tell everyone is working hard, so I don't want to say anything too bad, but unfortunately with this content I didn't feel it was worth lining up for. It's quite unsatisfying. I'd like to see a bit more creativity.

It seems to be a popular attraction, with a constant wait of over 40 minutes. Since it's covered by the Express One-Day Pass, I could get in without waiting, but considering the content, it doesn't feel worth waiting in line a long time for.

For all that waiting over an hour, it wasn't much. Waited 1 hour and it was over in 5 minutes. People who scare easily might find it scary, but it was a breeze and not fun. It's a waste to lose wait time on something like this
