Nice place for a lunch with a view ~ There are picnic tables and chairs ~ You can walk the dirt road (rarely used by vehicles) to get up here. The hiking trail is overgrown so walking up the road is easier. Nearby is the trail head to go to Mitakesan trail 🥾

By car you have to go up a dirt forest road, but at night you could see the Skytree and Tokyo Tower, and it was beautiful. Around dusk, oncoming cars sometimes come up from below, so you need to be careful when driving.

You can drive all the way to the end of the forest road. When I went, four off-road motorcycles had come up. The view is good, there are tables and chairs, and there were photos of the place being used for filming a TV drama.

The viewing plaza is maintained by local volunteers, and you can eat at the benches and tables (please take your trash home with you)
