Excellent Unagi restaurant, nice service, delicious and reasonably priced. My grandma in law comes here for over 60 years! Highly recommended! Reservation for the unagi recommended, seats you cant, if you dont book a room.
View on GoogleUnagi Heaven at うなぎ 藤田 東京店! (Unagi Fujita Tokyo) A Must-Try for Unagi Lovers! Our Japanese friends, true connoisseurs of unagi, brought us to this hidden gem – Unagi Fujita Tokyo. The moment you step in, the aroma of roasting unagi hits you, instantly whetting your appetite! This restaurant specializes in unagi, and it shows. From the perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth eel to even dishes featuring the spine (a delicious surprise!), everything was simply divine. Even the rice was cooked to perfection, complementing the unagi beautifully. Worth the Trip: Unagi Fujita might be a bit further from central Tokyo, but trust me, it's worth the journey! This place seems to attract a crowd of discerning unagi eaters, and for good reason. A Tip: Reservations aren't accepted for seating, but you can call ahead to reserve your desired unagi dish to ensure you don't miss out. Overall: Unagi Fujita Tokyo is an absolute delight for any unagi enthusiast. The exceptional quality, flavorful dishes, and friendly atmosphere make it a top recommendation. Just remember to call ahead and secure your unagi fix!

View on GoogleUnagi, a delicacy and a well-guarded secret within the pantheon of Japanese cuisine, finds its ultimate expression at Fujita. As one of the top 100 certified unagi restaurants, this establishment honors tradition with a meticulous preparation. The eels are expertly steamed and then seared to a burnished golden hue over charcoal, after being basted in a venerated, proprietary sauce. A final dusting of sansho pepper awakens the senses with a delicate, fruity aroma, culminating in a dish of unparalleled fluffiness and a deeply complex, sweet-savory flavor.
