I visited because I had something to do in this area. Having researched beforehand, I ordered チャーシュー麺 ¥1050円 and half a portion of rice ¥150円. The rice arrived first. Pickles on top👍 Then the ramen arrived. About 8 minutes. First, the soup. Ahh. A gentle flavor😁 What is it? A taste I have never had before. Yet gentle and nostalgic⤴︎ Since I ordered チャーシュー麺 this time, I put the char siu on the half portion of rice to make a char siu bowl. A sprinkle of black pepper and a bite. The char siu is tender and goes well with rice. Tender and delicious😁 There is plenty of menma too; putting it on the rice makes menma rice, which also works❤️ The elderly owner and his wife work well together. His wife kept saying to let her know if the flavor was too light; it was just right for me😁 She also kept an eye on my water and refilled it. With ramen, people's character really is part of the flavor✨ Both my stomach and heart were satisfied. Thank you for the meal😋
View on GoogleThe char siu visible from the counter whets your appetite. I ordered ネギチャーシューラーメン. The proprietress set down soy sauce seasoning in case I preferred a stronger flavor. It was indeed a little lightly seasoned, so I poured one circle of sauce over it. The noodles are ordinary, but the char siu is delicious! I caught a glimpse as I left; they also sell kakuni to take home. Next time I would like to try ルーローハン or something like that.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch. I arrived at 12:18 with 5 people waiting—a busy place. This time I ordered a large メンマらーめん! The soup is light, with a soy sauce flavor gently rounded out by pork bones and aromatic vegetables. They also provide kaeshi seasoning so you can adjust it to your own taste, a thoughtful touch. The noodles are flat and easy to lift; eating them together with the menma adds a textural accent and is delicious. The char siu deserves special mention, with just the right tenderness and fat content. Having it as a snack with a bottled beer seems like it would make for a blissful time. It is very well-balanced ramen, so I recommend it to everyone. ○ A little information ・18 minutes on foot from Kita-Hachioji Station on the JR Hachiko Line ・Cash payment only
View on GoogleLocated in Hino Tamadaira along the Hino Bypass, opposite the コニカミノルタ factory. The surroundings are residential, with no parking around the shop. I went into a back street and found a paid parking lot. With its red awning, it initially looks like a grubby-but-good food spot, but inside is clean. A small shop with about 5 counter seats and room for around 6 at the table. A father in his 70s or so is the chef, while the mother and their daughter serve customers. An elementary-school child who appears to be their grandchild sometimes helps inside too. That sort of family-run place. It was after 13:00 on Saturday, but full, so I waited a little. The menu inside showed ramen from 800円. There are various options, but I ordered ネギチャーシュー麺 for 1100円 with a large portion for an extra 100円. When it arrived, it was soy sauce ramen. I had assumed it would be rich tonkotsu, but it was the complete opposite, with a very gentle flavor. The char siu is simmered until extremely tender. I added pepper, garlic, and doubanjiang from the table seasonings, enjoying the changes in flavor as I ate. My companion said it was a flavor you would not tire of. Many people appeared to be regulars, ordering intriguing things such as ライス焼き or extra fat. Cash payment only. As I was leaving, I realized there was dedicated parking, but the paid lot only cost 100円.
View on GoogleParking spaces are 22,23,25. About a 4-minute walk to the shop! Run by an elderly couple and their daughter? Visited 2025、7、12、11:57; 5 customers were already there. I ordered スタミナラーメン for 950円 (topped with fried garlic slices (there is grated garlic and doubanjiang on the table, so you might not need to order スタミナ)), and the bowl arrived in about 5 minutes! The soup has a slight animal-stock smell, but not enough to bother me; the noodles are a little soft, and the char siu is meltingly tender and delicious! Full by 12:00. When I finished eating and returned to the parking lot, 1 car was waiting to park. Above all, the motherly lady's service was very pleasant.
