Five of us used this place for a girls' drinking get-together. Someone who'd been before said that if you mention sashimi when booking, they'll buy it at the market, so I requested sashimi and yangnyeom chicken when I reserved. An absolutely amazing sashimi platter arrived! I'd told them our budget was around 5,000 yen per person, so when ordering, the manager advised us about quantities and said that for an all-women group, it was better to finish one order before placing the next 🩷. We ended up ordering another plate of yangnyeom chicken after finishing it! Delicious〜 Gyeran-jjim is Korean chawanmushi, but they heat it in its bowl and it's piping hot 🔥 This was delicious too 😋 We also had chijimi, thick fried tofu, and mentaiko cheese, but finished everything before we even had time to take photos. I'll reserve sashimi again next time 🩷🩷🩷 Went again ♪ Today I'd also requested crab-miso tofu in advance, and amazingly, it was on the menu!!! It's really delicious, so give it a try! I was drinking with a senior colleague, but requested yangnyeom chicken to take home for my daughter. My husband would probably eat some too, so enough for 2 people! It even came with vegetables, the best yangnyeom chicken 😆
View on GoogleAfter reading other people's reviews, I didn't really feel like going, but a friend invited me, so I reluctantly went. I was an idiot for trusting the reviews. Every dish was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere was really nice too. What I particularly liked was the miso-marinated cream cheese prepared by the female proprietor, and the fried chicken was absolutely outstanding!!!! I'll come back for a meal again soon!
View on GoogleVisited for lunch. They have their own ordering rules. First, buy a meal ticket from the machine (which struggles to recognize banknotes, making it a bit difficult), put it on the tray on the counter, and receive a number tag. When your order is ready, they call your number, and you go collect it. After eating, it seems you don't have to clear up. The lunch menu is fixed apart from the daily special. The ginger pork is a little tough, and the pork loin katsu isn't really worth the price either. The salted mackerel or fried chicken might be better recommendations. At lunchtime, it seems smoking and nonsmoking areas are separated.
View on Google「四季彩 里やま」had high review ratings, so I visited for the first time for Saturday lunch. There was only 1 customer ahead of me. The interior was surprisingly spacious, with acrylic partitions on the tables as COVID precautions. Nobody showed me where to go, so I sat somewhere and waited, until a young male part-timer told me to buy a meal ticket from the machine. I bought and handed over a ticket for today's lunch,「メンチカツ定食」(800 yen including tax). Lunch costs 800〜1,000 yen. While sitting and waiting for the food to arrive, I was called:「The customer with the menchi-katsu set」. Apparently, you not only buy your own ticket but collect your own food too. There was 1 large menchi-katsu, potato salad, and pickles. The menchi-katsu was probably a commercial frozen product? The miso soup was daikon miso soup, and surprisingly contained tempura crumbs!? After eating, I wondered if perhaps I had to clear the dishes too. When I asked, apparently I did. It's completely self-service, and apparently handing over food or dishes directly is prohibited; even with the person right in front of you, they won't take them. It was the same when the food was ready. The rule seems to be to put things on the counter table. I understand self-service at a food court, but I don't understand why they make it completely self-service here. There's a major manufacturer's factory next door, so perhaps it's full on weekdays. As I left, the young part-timer said「Thank you」, but the owner never said a word throughout. This is an assessment of Saturday lunch, but I probably won't be back.
View on GoogleA friend told me the Korean food here was outstanding and that I should go, so I visited! Authentic cheese tteokbokki, gyeran-jjim, dakgalbi, and chijimi!!! It was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures. The female proprietor was really lovely, and because she was rushed and the food was late, she gave us complimentary oi kimchi—thank you 😭 She also told us fun stories about Korea, so we had a great time ♥️ Next time I'll bring other friends along for a meal!
