Visited at 18時15分 during GW; no other customers. It was full by the time we left. Brought my mother (already had a bottle of Shaoxing wine kept here). The gyoza really is delicious. Chinese food certainly fills you up. Went home uncomfortably full. A restaurant I had been curious about for a long time. Parked in a nearby paid parking lot, and visited at 18時30分 on a weekday. There were 2 tables free, so we got in. (One two-person table and 5? four-person tables.) The owner was running everything alone and looked busy. It was quite delicious. I bought uncooked gyoza to take home.

Tokyo I have become a Hachioji resident🤣 While exploring on a lunchtime walk, I found a place with atmosphere that looked promising💡 A sign saying teppan gyoza🥟🪧 Just went in. Ordered draft beer🍺, and since it was my first visit, the 🥟4-piece one, plus a shoyu ramen🍜 and fried rice set. A Chinese person runs the place alone. Soon came the 🍺 and complimentary menma. The menma was tender and delicious😋 Then in no time, the fried rice arrived. A really generous portion, with lots of chashu coming out from inside😋 Then the signature gyoza🥟… Hot🥵 and packed with filling😆 At this point, I was getting a little worried😅 Then the shoyu ramen🍜. It is delicious, really😋 The ramen noodles, probably handmade, are tasty too. But… I misjudged the portion sizes lol. I had planned to order another dish and another draft beer🍺💦 But I was already full🐽 It was 1710 yen, but they knocked off 10 yen♪🙇 Since I intend to come back, I made a post rather than a story👍

I have visited 3 times in these 2 weeks; this place has all three: big portions, delicious food, and low prices. The gyoza is good, but I especially recommend the fried rice, which contains chunky chashu (kakuni too?). Scooping it up with the lightly seasoned fried rice, you cannot stop your spoon. Even the regular serving seems as large as other places’ large portions, and the large portion… I laughed as soon as I saw it, but somehow finished it (is this an オモウマい店 restaurant?). It is nice that they stay open late too; I will keep coming to enjoy dishes I have not tried yet.

I stopped by for dinner. I had the mapo tofu set, pan-fried gyoza, and cola. The seasoning felt gentle, like home cooking. The gyoza came pan-fried, boiled, and steamed, I think, with many kinds of fillings. I chose pork and chives; they were full of meat juices! The portions were large, and I was stuffed. And the price was cheap! 1310 yen! I think the owners were a married couple; they were very friendly! On my way out, I bumped into the menu on the next table and knocked it over, but they did not look annoyed at all and treated me with smiles. I felt bad. Next time, I would like to try the noodles! Thank you for the meal!

Run by a Chinese married couple. I went because fried rice was said to be 500 yen on the 15th. It had pork kakuni and a fairly large portion. Ordering gyoza too was a mistake. I was stuffed. The only mistake was having too much; both the gyoza and fried rice were delicious. All this for 790 yen. Apparently a large serving is 100 yen➕. Cash only. No smoking🚭, but there is an ashtray at the entrance; if someone smokes there, what are people who dislike smoke supposed to do? “The lit end is pointing at other people”—do you really need to be told even that? That is why places where you can smoke keep disappearing. So minus one star. Cash only, so minus another star. A shame when it is such a good restaurant. Returned on the 5th. Gyoza was 100 yen. Had it with ramen. Total 700 yen. The gyoza here is the best. I hope they accept PayPay soon.
