The food tasted very good and was satisfying. However, the atmosphere inside wasn't very pleasant, and I especially felt there was a difference in service between regulars and other customers. While they chatted warmly with regulars, they treated first-time customers arrogantly, so honestly, I couldn't call it comfortable. I think the female staff member's behavior particularly reinforced that impression. It's a little disappointing, given how good the food is. I felt it would be a better restaurant if the atmosphere were a little more welcoming to everyone.
View on GoogleI'm currently getting takeout. If you bring a beer mug, they'll fill it for you. It's about 3 minutes by car from the restaurant to my home. Once I park the car, gulp, gulp—fantastic. The chicken dishes, fried foods, and oden are all very delicious. You can enjoy flavors at home that are hard to make yourself. The わかっこ and other dishes, charcoal-grilled to add aroma and refine the flavor, are incredibly delicious. Just the other day, a deck was built in front of the restaurant. You can smoke or have a beer, and during the fresh-green season or autumn foliage season, I think it would be wonderful.

View on GoogleVisited for the first time last weekend. I ordered chicken nanban and chicken-thigh tataki. The owner's father is apparently from Miyazaki, and the place felt so comfortable that my Miyazaki dialect, which I'd kept tucked away, came out smoothly and naturally. As the owner said, the chicken nanban isn't 100% Miyazaki-style, but the thigh meat was very juicy, and one bite brought Miyazaki chicken nanban right back. The sweet-vinegar aftertaste was perfect too. The only disappointment was that there was a little too little tartar sauce, but I was extremely satisfied. The chicken-thigh tataki came with ponzu, and perhaps because they use mature free-range chickens, both the texture and flavor were good. The 2 complimentary dishes afterward were also very delicious, the kind you can only eat because they're so fresh. This looks likely to become a comforting retreat.
View on GoogleA friend who had visited once before and liked it had booked "tatami seating for 3," but when we arrived at the reserved time, we were shown to a table that was clearly meant for 2. The place seemed full of regulars and was extremely busy, so we had to shift our bodies out of the way every time someone passed! I don't understand what "reservation" means here! Since we'd already gone in, we each ordered one drink and left after a few minutes! I understand valuing regular customers, but that was a bit much~_~;
