Quite a memorable restaurant: its auspicious name comes from one of the Seven Lucky Gods who grant worldly blessings; its entrance sits alone in one corner of a building; the interior is designed with Showa retro in mind; and you order and pay in advance at the register (there was no ticket machine). I ordered the “chicken ramen” listed at the top of the menu. Rather than a chicken paitan broth, it has a clear soup of the so-called shio ramen type, with thin straight noodles, letting you fully enjoy its gentle flavor. The toppings combine chashu, yuzu, seasoned boiled egg, green onion, rock nori, and tender bamboo shoot tips. If you like refreshing ramen, I think this is a flavor you'll get hooked on. As other reviews mentioned, it opened 2~3 minutes later than the scheduled opening time (11:30). Since it was a Thursday in midsummer, nobody was waiting, but after a while customers arrived one by one. It seems to be loved by locals.

My first visit, as I was in the area for work. The information said it opened at 11:30, but it opened after that time. There were 5・6 people waiting. I ordered a large tori soba(1000円)and paid in advance. When the bowl arrived, it had the light-style appearance I like. I took a sip of the broth. The chicken-bone flavor was a little weak, but the broth felt gentle on the body and went down easily. The noodles were thin too, but choosing a large portion gave me a satisfying amount. It was nice to enjoy 2 types in 1 slice of chashu. The atmosphere wasn't bad either, so next time I'd definitely like to try the tsukemen or abura soba.

I often have the tsukemen, but I had a large tori soba for the first time in a while. It's delicious as always! This nori is perfect with the salty flavor of the tori soba, the egg is thoroughly infused with seasoning and super delicious, and the chashu has a deliciousness you won't find elsewhere. Thank you for the meal 2025DEC I had the soy sauce flavor here for the first time. Or rather, I misunderstood on my own and ordered the chashu ramen imagining it was tori soba with more meat. But the chashu ramen was soy sauce flavored. Sorry. But! The chashu in the soy sauce version was wonderfully fragrant with the perfect bite and incredibly delicious. I made a mistake but got lucky. Thank you for the meal

This place is remarkably affordable, almost out of step with today's prices. Even the extra-large serving was so generous that I was amazed it could really cost just 1000円. The entrance looks like an upscale traditional Japanese restaurant, so I was initially a little intimidated about going in, but all the staff were kind and there was nothing to worry about. 【Abura soba】 The abura soba has a garlicky soy sauce dressing that coats the thick noodles well, and it packs enough punch to make you want rice. (Perhaps the amount is just right, because there isn't enough sauce left to add rice at the end.) The vinegar and chili oil on the table go very well with it too. The char siu comes in large slices on top, so it doesn't get much sauce on it, but it's flame-seared, smoky, and quite delicious. 【Shio tsukemen】 The dipping broth is much saltier than at other places, which some people might dislike. It contains plenty of aosa and yuzu as an accent, so as a yuzu lover, I really liked it. The noodles are nicely firm, and I think they're high-hydration noodles, so they suit the rather salty seasoning. 【Shio tori soba】 Compared with the two above, this had a gentle flavor rather than relying on punch. It also uses thin noodles. Like the tsukemen, it contained yuzu. I really liked the herb-scented char siu. As someone in my 20s, I found it a little lacking, but I think older people would enjoy it. 【Interior】 By ramen shop standards, it's very clean. As a smoker, I appreciate the ashtray right in front of the shop, but when there's a line, you really can't smoke in front of the nonsmokers… It's quiet around 14 on weekdays, so smoking isn't impossible, but smoking while feeling self-conscious and trying not to bother everyone isn't much fun, so personally, I wouldn't mind if it weren't there. 【Service】 Not being able to use old banknotes has become quite inconvenient lately… They will exchange them for you. I'd like to come prepared so I don't inconvenience them, but that's difficult lately. The owner is elderly, so customer turnover wasn't especially fast to begin with… The drinking water comes in a pitcher and is ice-cold. Recently, the tissues have disappeared… When I happened to visit around 14 on a weekday, perhaps they took pity on me drinking the tsukemen broth straight, because they gave me some broth to dilute it. I imagine that wouldn't be possible when it's busy, but I think their kindness is genuine. Once, I finished eating a little after the closing time of 2:30, but they saw me off without showing the slightest displeasure.
