This time I visited "びんびん亭" for the first time to eat Hachioji ramen! Since it was my first visit, I started with the regular ramen! The soup is soy sauce-based, with the umami of pork, seafood, and more. True to Hachioji ramen, it has chopped onions, and their crunchy texture adds a nice accent. The noodles are the thin kind I love, and the soup clings to them and soaks in — just how I like it! I also like adding pepper partway through to change up the flavor. Before I knew it I'd finished it in no time, and at the end I drank every last drop of the soup! It was my first visit, and it was delicious!

A Hachioji-style ramen shop that uses sooo delicious onions. They're so committed they even introduce the onion farmers who ship directly from Hokkaido 🧅 My go-to order is the yakumi ramen (800円), or the kotteri shoyu ramen (750円) with extra onions (100円). The yakumi ramen comes with such a bold heap of onions that the onions seem like the main event rather than the ramen! Not even a hint of sharpness — just onions full of umami. The noodles are thin and straight with a nice bite, and go well with the strong soy sauce soup — classic Hachioji ramen 🍜 The kotteri shoyu ramen has back fat that gives it a nice punch and sweetness — the ramen you crave the day after drinking! Thank you for the meal~!

Headed to "びんびん亭 日野店", a short walk from Hino Station, easy to spot by its yellow sign. While staying true to classic Hachioji ramen, their popular bowl is the onion-loaded "yakumi ramen"! What I had this time↓ ○Yakumi ramen The first thing that catches your eye is the sea of chopped onions covering the bowl. The crunchy texture is pleasant, and the way sweetness and sharpness take turns is addictive. The soup is a lighter soy sauce flavor than it looks, with the umami of the onions slowly melting in — a somehow gentle taste. Adding the soup concentrate on the table partway through boosted the richness, and I enjoyed the flavor change◎ The noodles are thin and straight. Cooked on the firm side, they cling well to the soup, and the more you eat, the more they come together with the onions. The chashu is tender, and the sweetness of its fat melts into the soup — a great supporting player that balances the whole bowl. Scooping up onions with the slotted spoon was fun too, and I enjoyed it without getting bored to the very end!

Had the yakumi ramen. Loads of onions, a light soup, and firm thin noodles — the best, berry goood. My body, worn out from walking around, came right back to life, all bin-bin with energy.
