Everyone has a favorite noodle shop; this one is ours. The udon is thick and has an excellent texture. Nice tempura veggies, especially on a day when the onion is tangy. Definitely worth the bicycle ride to get out there.

View on Google(2026.3) First visit as part of a udon shop tour. This seems to be a shop that follows the flow of the Murayama Ryo udon shop "Kikuya", and the menu notation such as "○○L" and the tableware used were common with the main shop. Among the Kikuya series shops, this is a visit after "Ryotaro" which is close to Tokorozawa Station. The interior is simple but has a calming atmosphere. Counter seats are the main, and there was one table for 4 and one for 2. In this shop too, the amount of udon is not specified, and when asked, they said "1 ball is a little over 100g". (In other series shops it is about 70g) If you are used to eating udon, it seems fine to tell ○ balls or ○ g directly when ordering. This time I wanted to eat it in 900g, so I ordered "Ten-tsuki Niku-jiru 9 balls (equivalent to 7L)". As a meat soup, it is one of the delicious ones, but if compared with "Kikuya", the impression changes. The dipping soup with dashi broth has a restrained sweetness and saltiness and a somewhat refreshing taste. Because of this, it feels thinner than "Kikuya", and it was a concentration that can be drunk directly. I felt this is close to "Ryotaro". Also, in the middle, they gave me a refill of dipping soup saying "Warm soup is better, right?", and I was happy. Udon is soft and easy to eat. It is delicious, but if compared, I felt the taste of udon (wheat flavor) is thin. (All are just personal preferences and impressions.) Musashino Udon also often blends Sanuki flour etc. with local flour (whole wheat flour) to pursue ease of eating and throat feel these days, but maybe the proportion of other flour is relatively high. Of course, that direction is also good, and I also feel the deliciousness. Because the taste is completely different depending on the shop, walking around to eat is certainly fun. Kakiage tempura is 2 pieces, crispy and delicious. Besides that, I am happy that there is grated ginger in the seasonings on the table. It was a very good change of taste. Thank you for the meal.

Inside the shop, there are 3 tables and 6 counter seats. Opening hours are 11:00-14:00. Every (Sunday) is closed. It is a Musashino Udon specialty shop, but regarding the menu content, the staff 👩 explained to me, so I ordered Ten-tsuki Niku-jiru (warm) L 3 balls. The chewiness of the meat soup was good and delicious.
View on GoogleIt was delicious. There was no alcohol at all, and opening hours were only at lunch time. Musashino Udon has a chewy image, but the udon here was not that much. (This is just a personal impression 😃)
