I visited after 21:00 on month 6, day 22, Reiwa 8 (Monday). There were about 3 customers already, and I got in without queuing. The main menu consists of regular portions of special ramen, ramen, and chashu noodles. I bought a ticket for the special ramen from the cash-only ticket machine, which does not accept large-denomination bills. They ask about your preferred adjustments and whether you want the free rice. Water is self-service. Tissues are under the counter. The pickles in a ramen bowl are all-you-can-eat and scooped with a ramen spoon. I ordered firm noodles and less oil. The bowl arrived in a few minutes; firm noodles are served quickly, even before customers who arrived earlier. The bowl is completely covered in green onions, making the seasoned egg stand out. When you lift the noodles, the chashu appears. It goes perfectly with the spinach and 3 accompanying sheets of nori. Do try the special ramen. The staff's service was good too. A woman from the shop next door was standing in front, so it was hard to photograph the exterior lol

Visited around 13:30 on a weekday. Perhaps because of the heavy rain outside, there was only 1 customer already there, and it was almost empty. I bought tickets for regular ramen (850円) and green onions (150円) at the ticket machine, and they asked about noodle firmness, flavor strength, and the amount of oil. They also asked whether I wanted rice, but I was full this time, so I passed. It seems to be free. I couldn't tell whether rice refills were available. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. I ordered normal noodles, but they were cooked a little firm, with a delicious chewy texture. The soup has a powerful tonkotsu umami, a flavor pork-bone broth lovers will find irresistible. I almost accidentally drank all the soup. The service was excellent too; it's a shame I'm not local. Thank you for the meal!

・The ticket machine is on the right after entering; cash only ・State your preferred noodle firmness, flavor strength, oil amount, and whether you want the complimentary rice when handing over your ticket 2026.05.25 First visit after 17:00, 0 customers before me and 5 after. Regular ramen ¥850 and complimentary rice, with all preferences normal. The soy sauce seasoning is restrained, but well balanced with the pork umami. Delicious by default. It also pairs nicely with the medium-thick, slightly wavy noodles. Devouring it with the chashu and spinach, with the garlic and pepper on the table, it was gone in no time. So good~ Thank you for the meal.

【Iekei ramen with little punch】 I saw in some statistics that 『武蔵家』 ranked 6 for iekei ramen, so I searched for one within my usual area and visited for the first time. I didn't know what to order, so I trusted that the shop's top recommendation would be at the top left of the vending machine and ordered 『特製ラーメン並』! There were 2 customers already, so the bowl arrived almost immediately. One sip of the soup had the thick mouthfeel typical of iekei ramen, but it lacked punch😅 The medium-thick noodles were delicious with the soup, but the chashu was sinewy and hard to chew😅 Overall, it felt just okay

This time, I was curious about 「横浜家系ラーメン 武蔵家 秋津店」 in the 秋津 area of 東京. It opened in month 7 of 2020. Apparently the same location previously housed 「二代目常翔家」, also part of the 新中野武蔵家 group, but the relationship is unclear. Apparently they also offer morning ramen, though only for a short time. And online, I saw information saying rice is free with unlimited refills. Iekei with free rice. At this point alone, white rice is already pulling up alongside me, saying, “Let's go together!” This is the story of the night I traveled from 山梨 to 東京 a day early to go for the tsukemen at 入鹿TOKYO. Ate yakitori, then hopped between taverns💨 By this point, normally you'd settle down for tomorrow. ……Normally. --------------------------------------------------- The moment the bowl arrived, the first things I noticed were the chashu, extra spinach, and nori. The stars of iekei were packed tightly across the bowl, leaving very little soup visible. But I like how these toppings eagerly push themselves forward. The classic iekei appearance, combined with the volume you'd expect from a large chashumen, felt very reassuring before I even ate. And above all, this look calls for rice. Before I'd even touched my chopsticks, the white rice beside me was already warming up. 【Soup】 I asked for a strong flavor, but it was more rounded than expected. The cloudy brown tonkotsu soy sauce broth was slightly thick, with the flavor of the bones still present. The soy sauce seasoning was gentle, bringing everything together rather than hitting you hard. After drinking, this degree of cohesion might be just right. Highly suited to being a final bowl of ramen after drinks. 【Noodles】 Fairly thin and flat, and somewhat short. The firmness was standard; they didn't carry too much soup and came together nicely in the mouth. They had a chewy texture, with a faint lingering wheat aroma. They paired naturally with the stronger soup I'd ordered, and I kept slurping. This isn't kind to late-night judgment. Toppings and shop details are posted on the blog 【いとログ】!
