They made soba and udon by theirself. So delicious! Gonna come again to try other menu
View on GoogleI came around lunchtime, so it was full, but I got in after a short wait. I had the seiro and mini donburi set. The soba had a nice bite, and the dipping broth was delicious too. I enjoyed it to the very end. For the mini donburi in the set, I chose negitoro this time, but there are plenty of other options, including fried dishes and motsuni. I think getting it together with soba for under 1000円 is a good deal. The location is good too, as it's close to Higashimurayama Station.
View on GoogleI had motsuni udon (880円) for dinner. It was delicious. Keep up the good work, the older gentleman and lady working here.
View on GoogleI worked around here over 30 years ago, so I visited out of nostalgia. This long-established soba and udon shop has been here since then. Today I had udon. The lunch sets come with a choice of mini donburi, and I ordered anago. The udon, made from local Saitama flour, has a nice chew and goes well with the richly seasoned motsuni. It was delicious! Thank you.
View on GoogleVisited alone on Sunday at around 11:30. It was almost full of men and women around my age or older. Maybe because it was the last day of the iris festival at Kitayama Park. People who came later were being turned away. I was shown to the tatami seating area on my own. There are 2 tatami seating areas, probably 2 tables seating 4, about 5 sets of seats for 2 facing each other, and 2 or 3 single seats. There were so many menu items that I couldn't decide, but I went with kakiage seiro with a large portion of soba for 1200円. The kakiage was thinner than I imagined. But it was fried crisp and tasted good. The soba was reasonably tasty. I thought about ordering basashi for 550円, but they looked busy, so I decided against it.
