I'd been curious about this place for a long time, but its short opening hours kept me from getting in. I finally managed to visit. Why was I curious? Because the daily set meal costs a surprising “627円” (haha). That day's special was “menchi katsu with special demi-glace sauce.” As for the all-important taste, perhaps the breadcrumbs are especially good, because the menchi katsu was wonderfully crisp with a fantastic bite! It had a slightly dense, creamy texture like a croquette and was delicious. The potato salad and dressed okra on the side were GOOD too! The miso soup had a strong dashi flavor, wasn't weak, and was perfectly seasoned. Everything felt like food prepared by a professional. This flavor at this price is astonishingly good value. It was a place I definitely wanted to revisit (^_^)v

I was working nearby, so I bought and ate bento about 2 times. With prices so high these days, this price and this deliciousness are fantastic! It seems you can eat inside too.

I'd bought takeaway bento several times and found them delicious, so this time I decided to dine in. The Western-style dishes appealed to me, but for some reason this place also has ramen, so I chose a ramen dish available only for dining in. 【Spicy thick-sauce ramen・792円 including tax】 As someone who likes spicy food, I found it a little lacking in heat. It had only a mild spicy flavor, so I think it would suit people who don't handle spice well. The sauce was only lightly thickened. I would have preferred it a little thicker. There were plenty of toppings and noodles, so it was filling. Personally, I think I prefer the Western-style menu.

The old-fashioned atmosphere was very nice. It had salmon, karaage, and cream croquettes. It was an exciting bento. It lived up to its name, picnic bento.
