A local place that I visit from time to time. Great staff here and very tasty ramen.

A tonkotsu ramen shop in front of JR Shin-Akitsu Station. You buy a meal ticket at the entrance. It's already cheap to begin with, but its selling point seems to be the free kaedama (extra noodles). I was a bit worried because the price was so low, but the taste was just ordinary tonkotsu ramen. The takana was free too, which was nice. I was full, so when I said I didn't need the kaedama, a staff member who seemed to be Chinese said, "Then I'll add some more soup for you," and added soup in a separate bowl. He showed me the big stockpot, saying they make the soup in the shop every day.

Dropped in on a whim just after the lunch peak. I come to this area for work and usually always go for Takagi no Bū next door, but that day I wasn't all that hungry... so I gave this place a try. I'd used it before and remembered it was 550 back then, so in I went. Honestly, it's ordinary. A ramen shop with nothing particularly worth mentioning. The customer peak is short and it's relatively empty, so it's handy when you're short on time... now I remember. That's why I came in last time too. That said, one free kaedama is a big deal and feels like a good deal. A safe place that's neither good nor bad and that you can get into right away is very valuable and handy. It's that kind of everyday spot. Thanks for the meal.

A tonkotsu ramen shop in front of Shin-Akitsu Station. It's in a convenient spot on my way home from work, so I eat here often. Around here there's only iekei ramen and the like, so this is a rare Hakata tonkotsu ramen. Of course, I also recommend the kaedama.
