This is the lunch set of マーボー麺 and half-size fried rice. The マーボー麺 is properly numbing and spicy but easy to enjoy, and the fried rice is homestyle. The reasonably priced lunch menu includes unlimited servings of a small selection of items such as zha cai and soup. The interior has subdued lighting and a homey atmosphere.
View on GoogleThe Higashimurayama branch opened in 2016. There is a related branch in Shin-Tokorozawa that had opened by at least the early 2000s. A homegrown Tokorozawa chain. Although the shops are related, I haven't investigated whether they share management or operate independently under the same name, so that is unknown. Famous for jumbo gyoza and xiaolongbao. They also offer all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink. Reasonably priced set meals are available at lunch. Lunch soup is unlimited. I was short on time, so I ordered lettuce fried rice. It arrived quickly. The lettuce fried rice lunch was quite tasty. Both the wonton soup accompanying the set and the fried rice are large even in their regular portions. The downside was perhaps that the restaurant was a little dark.
View on GoogleMy first visit. The points credited to my アインPay were nearing expiration, so I visited this place, which accepts アインPay. Since it was lunchtime, I chose a good-value miso tanmen & half-size fried rice set, plus shrimp gyoza. The people running the restaurant were Chinese. The miso tanmen and gyoza arrived quickly. The rich broth was delicious, as were the noodles, so I enjoyed eating even though the heat had reduced my appetite😊 The half-size fried rice was slow to arrive, reaching me when I was nearly done with the tanmen and gyoza, which was a bit disappointing. But that fried rice was quite delicious😅 Next time I might order a large fried rice.
View on GoogleI'd recommend the fried rice and set meals here, but not the ramen. Lunch specials and such run until 15:00, but the prices aren't much different from the regular menu, so there's no need to worry about that. It's really nice because the restaurant is quiet and empty, letting you eat peacefully. When I went there were no families with children, and I could only hear the background music, so I could enjoy a relaxed meal. Both men and women dining alone can eat comfortably.
View on GoogleMy first visit. I ordered about 4 individual dishes and was surprised by how quickly the food arrived. Every dish was delicious, and I was amazed there was a place serving such good Chinese food in Higashimurayama! Even 4 dishes cost around 2300円, which is reasonable. It seems family-run, and I'd say the service is quite polite. The gyoza contain no garlic, but they add garlic to the dipping sauce. You can walk from the east exit of Higashimurayama Station, though I think it takes about 10 minutes.
