Relax
View on GoogleI enjoyed the neighborhood Chinese dishes characteristic of Ohsho, centering my order on their classic gyoza. The gyoza's fragrant browned surface offers a perfect balance between crisp wrappers and juicy, flavorful filling. The vegetable and meat flavors really come through, with a reliably delicious taste that makes you want to keep eating. Another attraction is being able to choose according to your mood from a broad menu of stir-fries, rice dishes, and more. Every dish was generous and satisfying while remaining reasonably priced. The unpretentious atmosphere makes it an easy choice for everyday meals or dining with family. A reassuring neighborhood Chinese restaurant that makes it clear why it's been loved for so many years.
View on GoogleI tried the new mapo eggplant dish. Personally, I love eggplant, so it was delicious, but there wasn't much eggplant, so I'd like them to add more! The summer-only summer ramen was spicy and delicious too, though not as spicy as it looked (July 2026) Mapo tofu, miso-fried offal, and gyoza are the best accompaniments to beer (June 2026) Rasaimen has an addictive flavor, delicious with just the right heat (April 2026)
View on GoogleThere's parking. I came by car. Reliably good gyoza. They were delicious~ I also recommend the half-size rebanira. Individual dishes can be ordered in Just Size portions. Through the app, every Wednesday and every month you can get a coupon for the price of one plate off when buying two plates of gyoza.
View on Google①I came to try the “Gomoku Ankake Ramen” that recently received a perfect pass on the TV show “Job Tune.” Looking through my photo history, I'd eaten it 3 years ago, but my rating was average. ☆3🤔 Since the flavor changes every year, I decided to try it with high hopes, praying it wouldn't disappoint like the tanmen. October 23 “Shoga Tanmen” ☆4 November 24 “Ninniku Shoga Tanmen” ☆3 Is it because “Gomoku Ankake Ramen” is a limited-time item? They can't make a large portion, so I'll have “Gyoza” with Fair Set B and rate the gyoza too.🧐 The bowl arrived and looked delicious, but the ramen bowl was small, which was really disappointing.😂😨🥹 I could taste the seafood broth's umami, but the bowl was so small that lifting the noodles brought them up in a clump, making them hard to eat, so my rating isn't particularly high. Is ginger the key?😂😉🫣 The flavor and ingredients are ordinary. Compared with “Kantonmen” at local Chinese places, both the ingredients and quantity are lacking. As neighborhood Chinese food goes, my rating of the “Gomoku Ankake Ramen” is: not bad, but probably wouldn't order it again.🧐🥹🤔 I hadn't noticed, but apparently there weren't even shrimp 3 years ago, which surprised me.😱😞 This time, I could only identify 1 piece of meat. A little sad.🥹 The gyoza were delicious, but it felt like there was less filling than before.🧐🤔 Anyway, please make large portions available for noodle dishes (including limited-time ones) and use bigger bowls.🙇🙏 ②I came for the “Big Thank-You Festival.” It's a good-value festival where you get a 250-yen discount voucher for every 500 yen spent. I wanted a large portion of “Gokuoh Gyoza no Ohsho Ramen” from the Gokuoh menu, but was told that wasn't possible, so I decided to compare it with the regular “Gyoza no Ohsho Ramen.”😉✨🤔 Since I don't come often, when I requested garlic I was told it cost extra, but I ordered it because I wanted to enjoy my meal.😉 However, I ordered without checking the price, and it was 198 yen, far too expensive, leaving me surprised, disappointed, and shocked. 😲😞😱 Many places offer garlic free, and some charge 100 yen, but 198 yen might be the highest. So sad.😰🤫🫣🤬 I requested both bowls arrive together, and looking at them, which one was Gokuoh? You couldn't tell by their appearance.🧐👀😲🤔 The Gokuoh's large premium “Mugikomachi” roast pork wasn't particularly large. In fact, the regular Ohsho had 2 smaller slices. The Gokuoh's was a little thicker, but the amount of roast pork was about equal.🤔 I'd hoped Mugikomachi would taste better, but the flavor was almost the same too.😂🫣 Bok choy replaced the green onions, but that didn't make much difference to the flavor either.😅🤔 The fried onions and charred scallion oil add a little umami, but if asked whether they're necessary, I'd say not really.🤫🫣😅🤔 The noodles and broth are the same, and I didn't feel the Gokuoh offered better value or an improvement in flavor.🧐👀🤔 The biggest umami boost came from the Aomori garlic; without it, this is disappointing tonkotsu shoyu ramen. With garlic added, both get ☆3.😉 Without garlic, it doesn't taste good.😰 After comparing them, considering the price of the regular “Gyoza no Ohsho Ramen,” it's better value. The winner, perhaps.🤔 Since the garlic was so expensive, I added a Just Size portion of “Ninniku Gekimashi Gyoza,” aiming to exceed 2 thousand yen, and got 4 discount vouchers.😄 The gyoza are as delicious as ever.😃😄
