Came 3 times here ( because of my kid/ friends)There's some heaviness, lack of beauty in the atmosphere I cannot get along with. I think everything is way too caricatural, it kills the dreams.

It rises while slowly rotating, letting you enjoy distant views of the park and the surrounding area. It's truly a Showa-era attraction, but every now and then something like this is nice. Since it rises slowly, even I, with my fear of heights, enjoyed it quite a bit.

The landmark of Seibuen Amusement Park. The air conditioning is cranked up, so it also makes a good place to rest in midsummer. Sometimes you can see Mount Fuji beyond Lake Sayama.

The landmark tower of Seibuen Amusement Park. A circular observation deck rotates as it moves up and down the central tower, letting you take in the whole surroundings while seated. In the December winter sky, the air was perfectly clear, and Fuji's white peak stood out sharply, as if cut out of the blue sky.

Fujimi Observation Tower... I thought I'd never heard of it, but turns out the Gyro Tower got renamed. While sorting through my photos I found some ridiculously old pictures taken from the Gyro Tower, so I'm posting them.
