Love these family-run type of places. The food here is authentic and local. Quite inexpensive and huge portions.

Back after a long time! Even at 20:00, it was full and bustling. Families, people coming home from work, couples, all kinds of groups were enjoying the place. I had the salmon collar set meal, and it was delicious! I'll be back^ ^

I visited the popular Miki Shokudo in Higashikurume for lunch on Saturday. It's not conveniently located for transportation, but about six people were already waiting, showing how popular it is. After about 30 minutes, I was shown to the tatami seating in the back. The extensive menu made it hard to choose, but I ordered the ham katsu set meal. The ham katsu was thick, crispy, and delicious. Ham katsu and omurice seem popular, and everyone was eating with a smile. The staff clear tables efficiently too, so turnover is quick. The rebanira looked good as well. The portions are generous and it's good value, so I'd like to come again.

I happened to stop in while passing by, liked it, and now visit occasionally. First, for this kind of set-meal restaurant in Tokyo, the parking lot is large, and above all the menu is extensive. Of course, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable too. I'll definitely keep coming here.

My first visit was for an early lunch just after am11 on Sunday🚗💨 Parking fits about 10 cars. Inside were tables and tatami seating. About 5 groups were already there. It had the atmosphere of an old-fashioned diner, which really touched this old guy's heart❤️ The menu was so extensive that I could have spent forever thinking about it. I kept it simple and chose omurice. 780 yen including tax. Ordered directly from the staff. It arrived in about 15 minutes. While waiting, I passed the time sneaking glances at everyone else's food😄 It looked like classic old-fashioned omurice, and its strong ketchup seasoning left this old guy very satisfied. The portion was about the size of a typical large serving too. A lovely place that looks like it could appear in Kodoku no Gourmet✨ Maybe I'll order a fish dish next time🧐
