This place has been here for a long time. This was my first visit, with a few friends. There's a counter just inside that looks like it fills up with just a few people, but there's also tatami seating, making it a good option for families and groups. The food is quite delicious, and the people running it are very nice. There were customers at the counter who seemed to be regulars, which gave me a sense of why it's been around so long. Apparently some menu items are available for takeaway too. It's the kind of place I wish were in my neighborhood.

The reviews were too brief to be useful, so I went in to check it out myself! First, I ordered a draft beer. The mugs are chilled and the lines are cleaned, so the head is nice too For some reason, the appetizer is two dishes that change daily (haha) The katsuo is tasty, and the tonkatsu is substantial and thoroughly cooked I'd recommend the set meals! Check the photos and judge the rest for yourself😋 Bonus: the proprietress loves chatting, so she'll keep you company even if you come alone😁

It was my first visit, and of course the food and drinks were good, but above all, chatting with the owner and his wife was the best, and I had such a fun timeദ്ദി,,-`_´-)੭ I'll stop by again(￣^￣ゞ

The first izakaya I visited in 羽村. It's a small place, but it had a warm, homey feel. The sashimi, hirezake🍶, beef tendon, and ochazuke were all delicious.

The various set meals cost 1300 yen. They come with salad, a small side dish, and soup. With options like the chef's choice set, simmered fish, and chicken katsu, you won't get bored. Everything is delicious; you can't go wrong. Recommended.
