Easy to visit with children (setting aside the steep entrance stairs). Low prices and excellent taste! The complimentary cold drink isn't water but barley tea (probably brewed by boiling, too). When I ordered a set meal, they gave me extra rice to cover my child's portion too. I really appreciated it. So sad it's closing!

A place to eat run by a friendly, easygoing owner. ゆとろぎ and the library are next door. The entrance is on the 2nd floor, up the stairs along the road on the north side. The interior feels like a converted snack bar, and they seem to open in the evening too. They have a wide selection of alcoholic drinks and food, so it's good for either a quick drink or a leisurely session. Every time I go, I always—without fail!—have the karaage set meal. Fist-sized pieces of karaage come piled high, with soy sauce flavor bursting out and a crispy texture. A large serving of rice is free, and it even comes with pickles and miso soup, for 650円. Overwhelming value for money. They also have udon, soba, and rice bowls, so I don't think you'd get bored even going every day. A place I definitely want to visit again.

There was only 1 review, but based on that person's comments I ordered the karaage set meal. Just as they said, it tasted good, had a generous portion, and offered good value. It's right near the public facility 「羽村市生涯学習センターゆとろぎ」. The entrance on the building's 2nd floor is an ordinary apartment door, which looks a little intimidating at first, but inside the small place, which feels like a converted room, the owner chats with you. I tend to choose places with lots of reviews and high ratings, but coming here was the right decision. I'd like people nearby to give it a visit.

Ordered the karaage set meal. It's huge as in the photo, but is the meat chicken breast? It wasn't very juicy, which was disappointing because I'd had high hopes. The owner wasn't very friendly either, which was also disappointing. Thank you for the meal!

Croquette set meal. Really delicious. The pickles are delicious too. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere as well. I'd only used takeout during the pandemic, so it was nice to eat inside!
