Great place to grab food and VERY cozy. It actually became one of my favorite stops before entering the canyon for hiking.

This place is a real trip. The owner, Ichiro, has a multigenerational construction business and when not doing that, runs this cafe, which is also a crafts store, his home and really a constantly evolving work of performance art. The food options are tasty and well executed. The location is particularly nice as a stopover for cyclists riding up to or on the way back down from Lake Okutama. You occasionally may find the place “closed” for group events...a choral group meets here periodically as does an ukulele club, but Ichiro will generally find room to let you in as long as you don’t mind whatever the group is doing. Oh yeah, be sure to check out the custom-built bathroom. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

This place was wonderful! Such a relaxing atmosphere and great vibe. The design is so unique and everything hand built by the owner. The owner and his family are so kind and friendly. We definitely want to go back.

A kind family owns this cafe. They do very well in making quirky items and making good food and coffee. We met two different sons of the owner on different occasions. Both tried to speak English to us. They did well. We appreciate the kindness of speaking English when they definitely did not have to. Oh and the view of this place!! We always sit outside, it is so peaceful. We once brought a poster to work on. They are very project/ instrument friendly here! It was a very nice experience. A calm place to work on our poster for family coming to town! 💗🥲 we are grateful they were cool with it!

I found this beautiful and welcoming cafe near a walking bridge spanning over Tama river. The atmosphere is very cozy and the people very welcoming. One of the greatest finds in the Hamura area. Great views and wonderful music fills the air with plenty of smiles filling the room. I recommend visiting this well kept secret. All of my senses are tingling and flowing because of the newly found experience found together with my hearts love and our good friend. Great work and passion of the owner makes this a must see and treasured place.
