Best Yakiniku place I have ever been to! Fresh and excellent selection of the finest quality of meats. My new #1!!! This restaurant will be getting alot of business from me for now on.
View on GoogleThis place in front of Ozaku Station serves delicious grilled horumon. There aren't many options around Ozaku Station, but it's so good that before I knew it, I'd visited more than 10 times(^^; My personal four must-haves at 山ちゃん are: ①Takenoko (pork aorta): a crunchy, chewy texture. ②Gatsu shin (the part of the stomach near the esophagus): a tender bite like grilled squid. ③Jo mino (beef first stomach): crunchy and chewy. It's tastier than the mino at a certain upscale yakiniku restaurant inside a department store. ④Seseri (chicken neck meat): a tender texture. It's a one-person operation, so service is a little slow, but order something from the quick menu and relax with a beer while you wait. I personally love this place, so I hope they keep doing their best.
View on GoogleThe horumon and beef kalbi cuts are tender and delicious! The prices are a little high, and cards aren't accepted, which is a drawback. Early in the evening, there aren't enough staff to keep things running smoothly, so wait patiently.
View on GoogleNo complaints about the food or prices; it was very delicious. The popular takenoko was especially good. One person runs the kitchen, so food takes a while, but it's a horumon place, so grill leisurely while you wait. What seriously lowered my rating was the rude treatment of staff from the fully visible kitchen, with remarks frequently shouted loudly enough to carry throughout the restaurant. The food was delicious, but watching the floor staff working while being treated like that right in front of me simply made me feel awful. In the end, a kitchen staff member who hadn't spoken before started cheerfully badmouthing someone with a customer who may have been a regular. I couldn't stand it, so I hurriedly finished the remaining food and left. The food was definitely delicious, but I don't think I'll ever go back.
View on GoogleThe portions have shrunk compared with before… a little pricey(^^;) Since it's open until morning, it's more like an izakaya than a horumon restaurant.
