Authentic worth the price, taste different than other tenshoku
View on GoogleThis is my first full day living in Hamura, and I loved the meal I had here. Despite my limited japanese, the hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and the food was amazing.
View on GoogleA set-meal diner in front of Ozaku Station. The atmosphere, as if time stopped in the Showa era, is really nice. There are several set meals and à la carte dishes, so choosing is a lot of fun. The fried dishes are of course served freshly fried, so they're very tasty. Probably non-smoking inside. Cash only.
View on GoogleA set-meal diner in front of Ozaku Station. Run by an older man and woman. Cheap and tasty A diner that's a friend to office workers. The taste... Like going back to your family home and eating your mom's cooking after a long time. That kind of comforting flavor. If you eat it every day it just feels normal, but eating it once in a while makes you think 'Ahh~ this really is comforting~, food someone makes for you is so good~' The 'taste of mom' you won't find at fancy restaurants. Even though the one cooking is the old man (lol)
View on GoogleVisited twice at lunchtime: yellowfin tuna sashimi set and simmered bluefin tuna eyeball set, 1100円 each, large rice +100円. My impression is they put effort into both meat and fish. I haven't had the meat, but it'd be nice to have a place like this nearby😉
