One of our favorite ramen places, we love them. Super friendly prompt service

View on GoogleI ordered “魚豚骨ラーメン”, the first item on the menu. It is tonkotsu ramen with the aroma of fish powder. I think people will clearly either like it or dislike it, but I like it. For better or worse, the restaurant feels like “the quintessential neighborhood Chinese restaurant”, with a wide-ranging menu. Set meals, fried chicken, croquettes—it feels like they will make anything! Seems like you could keep coming without getting bored.
View on GoogleI had been curious about this place for a while and finally managed to visit. We enjoyed 特選味噌らーめん, 煮干しらーめん, ネギチャージャー丼, and gyoza. I can only judge the dishes we had, but I felt that 特選味噌らーめん, 煮干しらーめん, and ネギチャージャー丼 were strongly flavored overall (nowhere near actually salty). We visited as a married couple (I am 50, my wife is 56), and it seems we prefer lighter flavors as we get older. Taste varies from person to person, so these may be just right for younger people. Apart from the strong flavor, the portions, including the toppings, are generous. As we get older, we also cannot eat as much, so I recommend this place to younger people or those with big appetites. The interior is spacious, with children's meals and individual dishes available. I recommend it to families too. The menu is also so varied that it is hard to choose. We also had gyoza; the wrappers were crispy on the grilled side and chewy inside, with plenty of filling, and they were very delicious. They would almost certainly go well with beer. The staff's service was also wonderful, and we enjoyed a very comfortable meal. The restaurant is about a 10-minute walk from the west exit of 小作駅 on the JR青梅線, along 新奥多摩街道. For those coming by car, there are around 5 parking spaces on the premises. I wrote earlier that the gyoza here are delicious and go well with beer, but please never drink and drive, as that would also cause serious trouble for the restaurant.
View on GoogleHmm, my first visit. I came with pretty high expectations, so 3 stars. The ramen was delicious, but overall it felt like a chain restaurant.
