紅屋飯店@Hamura Yakiniku don & ramen ¥1050, bottled beer (medium) ¥600 The neighborhood Chinese restaurant “紅屋飯店” sits quietly behind Hamura Station (on the west exit side). A standalone ramen is reasonably priced at ¥700, and even at night you can order set meals such as green onion rice & ramen for ¥800. I wanted to try the ramen, so I ordered the yakiniku don & ramen set from the set menu. I'm not sure whether this ramen is the same as the standalone version, but it looks a little cheap, with small chashu slices, menma, and garnishes. The flavor is also a very simple soy sauce ramen. The yakiniku don has thinly sliced pork loin with yakiniku flavoring. The meat has little fat, so it has a firm chew. Personally, I think I prefer pork belly for this kind of rice bowl. This side of Hamura Station feels a little quiet, so I hope they keep doing their best! Thanks for the meal♪

Visited as a party of 2. Parking is across from the restaurant. The service was unbelievably bad. The interior was dark. We ordered set meals that came with pickles and a small side dish. There was nothing that made us think, “Oh! That's good!” It was a meal that left us in an indescribable mood, unable to stop sighing after leaving.

Honestly…don't get your hopes up. You can choose inexpensive lunch sets for 700〜900, and the chef does properly change the daily specials using their skills. The greatest reassurance is that they reliably keep the place running every day.

I ordered green onion ramen, but the green onions hadn't been cut properly and were still connected. The Chinese noodles were on the firm side, and the soup wasn't great either. There won't be a second visit.
