I’ve been to a lot of ramen places all over and Ajigen Miso Ramen is by far my favorite.

味源小作店@小作 Shio ramen ¥800, bottled beer (medium) ¥650 I had Asahikawa shoyu at the Kabe branch the other day, so I went for Hakodate shio here! I thought it would be a clear broth, but it was a cloudy white soup with a seafood aroma. The noodles were yellow, medium-thin and curly, with a springy, chewy texture. Plenty of chopped green onions and a large slice of chashu made it a satisfying meal. Thanks for the meal♪

I assumed that even tanmen would have a cloudy white broth if it used 味源's soup, but it was transparent and clear, and the noodles weren't the yellow ones from 小林製麺 either, but supple, thin white noodles. The young owner was clear-spoken and pleasant, and there was absolutely none of the bad attitude mentioned here.

A ramen shop that has been operating for over 30 years in this little town called Ozaku. It's a ramen shop with delicious miso ramen, welcoming everyone from students and office workers during the day and evening to the ladies from snack bars and hostess clubs until late at night. A place full of memories.

【Ozaku】 味源 is everywhere, isn't it? Is there someone running the whole operation?? The place I wanted to go to was closed for its regular day off, so I switched to this one. Monday, just after opening. I was the first customer. An old-school miso ramen, with a fairly strong flavor but not a thick broth. Still, the noodles were my kind, with big slices of chashu and plenty of green onions, so I was satisfied. The gyoza was good too.
