The only? shop serving「ぱんかつ」as a representative B-grade local specialty? of 八王子. It often appears on TV neighborhood-introduction programs, but currently opens on weekends after 5. Since it's right beside 八幡八雲神社, wouldn't it be perfect to visit the shrine late in the day, use the cleanest public toilet in 八王子, and then head over?
View on GoogleA lovely okonomiyaki restaurant It was insanely delicious I'm completely satisfied(^_^)v I'll come again with the whole family❣️Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleThey're open on so few days that I can't visit often, but the staff are kind and easygoing, and the okonomiyaki is sooo delicious✨✨ Plus it's cheap and generously portioned😍⤴️ Sometimes it's too crowded to get in, so I recommend calling ahead☎️ For some reason, eating here makes me feel happy—I love this okonomiyaki place🫶🏾💕💕

Equivalent to 2 slices of bread A food from immediately after the war, originating as a street-stall dish using bread instead of meat. Spread sliced bread with flour dissolved in water, coat it in breadcrumbs, and cook it on an iron griddle generously greased with lard(this is the key). Cooked until crispy outside and chewy inside, it mysteriously has the texture and taste of katsu. Finish by pouring over an original sweet-spicy sauce made especially for パンカツ, containing apples, honey, and more
