Close to home and meat is relatively cost effective to taste, staff is really helpful and understanding of our needs. Sometimes a bit smokey but what can you expect for a barbecue restaurant?. Many families attend so I think the locals appreciate the taste and atmosphere.
View on GoogleIt's cheap and delicious, but there are some disappointing points here and there, so I'll list them. ・Restaurant service The service attitude is generally average. However, I get the impression that quite a few staff members aren't very friendly. Also, orders occasionally take a long time to arrive. Meat usually comes in about 5 minutes, but sometimes you're kept waiting for tens of minutes, and I often wonder if they're understaffed. The reservation system is disappointing too. Reservations are only available for 4 or more people; groups of 3 or fewer can't book. I could understand during busy periods, but this applies all the time, even on ordinary days, which is pretty tough. So groups of 3 or fewer may have to wait unless they get there early. (I'll explain later, but this is really tough.) ・Parking There aren't exactly few parking spaces, but there certainly aren't many either. Including the people waiting outside the restaurant, it fills up almost immediately. So even with a reservation, you sometimes can't park because of customers waiting or dining inside. ・Waiting time The most disappointing thing of all is the wait to get in. For some reason, customers here generally take their time, and many just keep drinking after finishing their food. As a result, your turn takes ages to come, which makes it difficult for groups of 3 or fewer who can't reserve. Unless you arrive very early, it fills up straight away, and above all, it's not unusual to wait 1 hour. I'd like them to relax the reservation rules a little. Or at least introduce timed seating to improve turnover. This is rare, but once I was 3rd in line and still waited 1 hour from that point. Another time, my family of three, including me, went in, and only 2 other groups left before we did. (There are more than 10 tables.) It's a yakiniku restaurant, not an izakaya, but perhaps because the prices are cheap, the customers aren't particularly well behaved. Still, the reasonable prices and delicious food make this a very appealing restaurant.
View on GoogleA cheap and delicious yakiniku restaurant. Parking is in front of and beside the restaurant. There are a fair number of spaces, and some were available even with people waiting inside. You take a numbered ticket to join the queue. The prices really are appreciated. The salad portions are huge, and a generously piled refill is in the 500-yen range. The meat is good, and the alcohol is reasonably priced too. There's a luxurious amount of space between seats. But orders take far too long to arrive. I'd like the meat and rice brought first, but the rice still hadn't arrived after I ate the meat, so I ended up having to ask. The stone-grilled dish also takes so long you wonder if they've forgotten it. It was our very first order, but arrived when we were already starting to feel full. For that reason, ⭐︎3.
View on GoogleAn excellent yakiniku restaurant that's very busy despite being in the suburbs😆 I recommend making a reservation before visiting😊 It seems almost everyone has a reservation, so walk-ins will probably have a long wait🤣 I don't know much about yakiniku, but it was incredibly delicious☺️ Hida beef is delicious🌟😆 But… my companion's comments were a little too spot-on and got me thinking🫨 According to my companion, Cooking it yourself is fun and gives you the freedom to eat it at your preferred doneness, but since you don't know whether you're grilling it properly, aren't you missing out? Wouldn't meat grilled properly by a competent chef taste better? That's what they said😓 Absolutely right😭 Thinking that it might be even tastier if grilled with the right timing, we really might be missing out😓 I'll have to visit teppanyaki restaurants as well as yakiniku places and learn about that🤣 On a side note🤣 I'd never had senmai sashimi before, so I was excited🤣 Anyway, thank you for all the various dishes😆
View on GoogleThis was my first visit since the renovation. There were rumors that the food had gone downhill… Rather than getting worse, they used to use charcoal shichirin grills, whereas now it's gas, so the flavor itself is different, I suppose… Has the menu shrunk compared with before too?! All the meat is now thick-cut, so it was substantial, but as time passed and I got fuller, it started to feel tough, or the thickness made chewing feel like hard work… The fat was also a bit heavy. Still, having been renovated, the restaurant is clean, and since they no longer use charcoal, the smell isn't much of an issue.
