I dropped by on a business trip to Hachioji. There were lots of places nearby, but the ratings were good, so the two of us went in. The draft beer is Sapporo, but wherever you go in the country, draft beer is delicious! First we ordered the three-kind sashimi platter. It was very delicious♪ I recommend the sashimi! The grilled mochi with cheese was super gooey! The agedashi tofu was the best I've ever had! The tofu was melt-in-your-mouth soft, recommended!! The natto omelet was a gooey omelet just as I expected and suuuper delicious, also recommended lol There was a ramen shop nearby, but since ankake yakisoba was on the menu, I ordered it as a closer. Piping-hot noodles with a nice bit of char, fragrant yakisoba with a good dashi flavor, delicious. The place was run by the taisho and a young guy, and both gave great service. I'd like to come again when I'm in Hachioji.

I found this place with high ratings while browsing Google Maps. I decided to try it right away. Every dish was about 1.5 times bigger than I imagined, which made me happy. As other reviews mention, the Yacchan croquette and isobe-age were delicious. I'd assumed the isobe-age would be an upscale version where the chikuwa itself is fluffier and more fragrant, but what actually came out was a well-seasoned, drinker-style one. And it was generous too. Different from what I imagined, but this is totally fine in its own way and a great snack to go with drinks. In contrast to the generous, good-value food, the drink prices struck me as somewhat high. Even for me, someone who goes to all kinds of izakaya, no, precisely because I'm like that, the prices made me a bit hesitant to drink several beers or Kaku highballs. So that day I had beer only for the first drink, then ordered a bottle of shochu to cut costs. I don't usually do this, but something made me hesitant enough to want to. The owner's service showed a great personality and was very pleasant. I can see why everyone praises the service. There must be lots of regulars. If the beer and highball prices, plus the prices of mixers like soda, were a little cheaper, I'd want to give 4 stars, but since the pricing felt somewhat off to me, I'll leave it at this rating this time. Finally, to repeat, the dishes were all generous and delicious, and the service was good.

A shop tucked away in a slightly hard-to-find alley. I made a reservation and went in; maybe they have lots of regulars? It was pretty busy. Since it's a seafood izakaya, I ordered mainly seafood. The owner and staff were very attentive, but the Pacific saury sashimi I ordered first came out last, and all the grilled dishes were overcooked and tough, so there were various disappointing things. The prices weren't that cheap either.

I came here for the first time with 4 friends during Golden Week. It was late, from 9 p.m., but the service was wonderful. From the otoshi to the sashimi platter and agedashi tofu, everything was meltingly delicious. The complimentary deep-fried heads from the sashimi were a surprise too. Also, when we ordered 2 dishes, they were considerate enough to ask, "Shall I bring one plate first?" I was moved, since it's rare to find a place this attentive! I'd love to stop by again when I'm in Hachioji.
