I called because it's reservation-only, but an announcement played saying today's portions were sold out. I wanted to make a reservation, not necessarily for today. The fact that they seemed to have no intention of answering the phone in the first place felt arrogant and made me angry. They don't seem to have a website, either, so when am I supposed to call? If it's reservation-only, surely you have at least a little time to spare. At least answer the phone!
View on GoogleStrictly reservation-only😃 Getting a reservation is the hard part💦 Be aware that calls don't go through during opening hours😓 (It's easier to get through outside opening hours) Since it's strictly reservation-only, once you've booked, unlike other famous long-established restaurants, you don't have to wait ages or worry about them selling out✨ As for the flavor, it's unagi, so of course it's delicious😆😆😆 So fluffy🤩 Though the sauce may have been a little sweet🤔 According to my companion the bones hadn't been removed thoroughly enough😓 There were a few too many, which bothered them and made it a little hard to focus on the taste🤔 It didn't bother me at all, but since an unagi lover said so, I guess maybe that's the case?🤣 I think there was room for about 4 cars in front of the restaurant?🤔 Being reservation-only also means the parking lot is unlikely to be full, which is nice☺️
View on GoogleSince this was a “reservation-only” restaurant, I visited with high expectations, but both the eel-head kanroni appetizer and the unaju sauce were too sweet for me(kanroni is supposed to be sweet, but even so). The cooking seems careful, so perhaps it's good for people who like sweet flavors? I won't be going a second time.
View on GoogleMy family brought me here to celebrate my birthday. The unagi was very fluffy and large! Reservations are essential!
View on GoogleThe unaju was very delicious. The interior was very clean, and the calm service was pleasant, too. Since I had a reservation, I was able to enjoy a luxurious time despite it being Sunday lunchtime.
