A ramen shop inside Tokyo University of Technology. You can get decent ramen at a reasonable price. (It was much tastier than nearby Ogawaryu.) Regular ramen is 500円, but ramen with ajitama is 530円, only a 30円 difference, so ordering it with ajitama is better value. When I added ajitama to a ramen that had no ajitama option, I was charged 100円, so it is safer to order a ramen that already has an ajitama option. All the ramen has broadly appealing seasoning, so you are better off eating here than at some questionable place. The portions are slightly small, but when I ordered a large serving, only the noodles increased and the broth stayed the same as a regular serving, making it like mazesoba, so I do not order large servings. I order a small rice for the same price instead. Payment is cash only, so it takes a little time when there is a queue.
View on GoogleI had lunch at the Tokyo University of Technology cafeteria today. I ordered Tsubakiya’s “karami abura soba” for 540円. On Saturdays, one person handles everything, so they looked quite busy. On top of that, there were more people than usual for a Saturday today, and it was crowded. It was served after about 10 minutes of waiting. It looked fairly appetizing. From the upper left were spicy meat miso, two slices of roast pork, menma, red pickled ginger, chopped green onions in the center, and underneath, noodles thoroughly coated in strongly flavored seasoning. Considering it is a university cafeteria, the karami abura soba was quite well put together. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleIt is very crowded at lunchtime, but I think the food is served fairly quickly. The abura soba is quite strongly seasoned, so it might be better eaten with white rice. The prices are very low.
View on GoogleThis is a very tasty ramen shop. I think it is good value. But the gyoza... is not very good. It is also a real shame that they only accept cash. These days, some people insist on paying with PayPay or a card, so I think it is a missed opportunity if those people do not come. So I would like them to accept credit cards and PayPay. The ramen’s taste deserves 5 stars, but I am taking off 2 stars because the gyoza is disappointing and payment is cash only, giving it 3 stars.
View on GoogleThe manager is always kind, and for me this is the tastiest and most relaxing ramen shop! I want to eat here even after graduating. Please keep leaving out the green onions for me.
