Basic ramen joint with great noodles. Love spicy food and the spicy ramen hits the spot directly.

This time I ordered Spicy miso abura soba, W serving (320g) ¥980 To cut to the conclusion, this price for this volume is off-the-charts. First, the noodles. The chewy extra-thick noodles are the star, with real substance. Coating them is the special sauce + chili oil + vinegar. Add the punch of spicy miso, and your appetite takes off from the very first bite. The toppings of green onion, menma, chashu, and soft-boiled egg are nicely balanced too, a "perfected bowl" whose flavor evolves the more you mix. And here's the strong point Regular, large, and W servings are all the same price (880円〜980円) Honestly, it's at a level that bugs out the very concept of value for money. If you add the table condiments (garlic, chili oil, vinegar) partway through, it goes to a whole other dimension. Before I knew it, I'd finished it all. "Lighter than ramen, but more satisfying" That's the kind of bowl it is. For abura soba in Hachioji, it's definitely here. Definitely coming back. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleThe abura soba was really delicious, and I was very satisfied with the flavor! 😋 However, the staff's greetings were a bit loud, and it startled me a little while I was eating. If they could keep their voices a little lower, I think I could enjoy my meal in a more relaxed and calm way.
View on GoogleExit the K8 Building at Keio-Hachioji Station, go left, and it's right after crossing Higashi Hoshasen Road (I-Road) at the crosswalk at the first traffic light. There's a step of about 2cm at the border with the sidewalk, but it's almost barrier-free. Inside there are counter seats and booth-style table seats. I had the "Abura Soba (regular)" (880円) with a "soft-boiled egg" (100円) and "crushed raw garlic W (double)" (0円). According to the "How to Eat" posted on the partition wall at the counter, you're instructed to drizzle vinegar and chili oil around the bowl. As told, I drizzled vinegar and chili oil around twice, mixed everything well, then picked up a good amount and slurped. There's a moderate sourness and spiciness, and a wheaty taste from the thick noodles coated in sauce. When you add the chopped onion from the table, a crunchy texture, a nice pungency, and a sweetness that overpowers the pungency spread out. I'd like a few more table condiments for changing up the flavor. (*This is purely my personal impression.)
