I heard a rumor that a very un-Hachioji-like shop had opened in Hachioji, so I went. It's like a cafe you'd find in a stylish neighborhood. As a Hachioji local, I think they picked a great location. I think there were about 9 tables inside. On a Saturday afternoon it was almost full. The crowd was mostly young people. I had the au lait glacé and the "Heavenly Cheese" French toast. The au lait glacé was a beautiful 2 layers. The French toast is hearty, but the sweet-and-salty flavor was addictive and I polished it off. If you can enjoy this drink & toast plus the atmosphere for about 1500 yen per person, it's great value. Apparently it turns into a bar at night, so I'd like to come back. Curious to see what cocktails they serve. Revisited January 2022 A popular place that's busy on weekdays and holidays alike. There was a handsome staff member I hadn't seen last time. This time I had the "Apple CO." French toast and a hot cafe mocha. The French toast is as delicious as ever. The crowd is young, so a middle-aged person like me hesitated to go in, but I gave in to the temptation of the French toast and went in. A kind shop that lets in even a middle-aged guy on his own.

The atmosphere and interior were exactly my taste — total winner. This clear table set slightly up high is unbeatably cute, and not just the individual items at the other seats, but the way they're combined is the best too. The Holiday brunch French toast was generous and very delicious. It was a friend's birthday, so I'd reserved in advance and asked for a birthday plate. I'd seen what the plate would look like beforehand, so I knew what was coming, but it would've been even better if, besides this chocolate(??), there were a few variations like cake to choose from~ Also, it'd be even better if the staff's customer service improved.

A newly opened cafe. Its specialty is French toast. As soon as you walk in, you're prompted to use alcohol sanitizer and shown to your seat; even after they take your order, no water is served. There are 6 kinds of French toast. I had the toast called Holiday Brunch as a lunch set for 1300 yen including tax. Holiday Brunch is French toast sandwiching scrambled eggs. It's topped with Parmigiano Reggiano. The sides are sausage, asparagus, and grilled tomato. The lightly sweet French toast goes great with the scrambled eggs. I enjoyed it. Since it's a set, it comes with yogurt topped with blueberry jam, and for a drink I ordered a hot cafe latte.

【The shop in a word】 A white-themed, Instagrammable cafe 【Access/Seating】 About a 5-minute walk from Hachioji Station. About 4 counter seats and about 10 sofa seats inside. 【Prices】 Cover charge probably none Shisha 2,000 yen No sharing charge Soft drinks from 500 yen Alcohol from 600 yen All-you-can-drink from 2,000 yen ※ Some details may be slightly off About the price range of a typical shisha bar or cafe. 【Exterior/Interior】 Street-level with a white-themed interior. The tables and sofas have different designs at each seat — stylish. Every seat is Instagrammable. High ceilings and generous spacing between seats make it feel roomy. 【Shisha】 It took about 20〜25 minutes to be served. I ordered Two Apple, but what came out was probably a nicotine-free flavor, so I wasn't very satisfied. 【Service】 Lots of pretty, influencer-like staff and handsome guys. They were playing darts with customers the whole time. 【Food/Drinks】 They have the full lineup you'd expect at a stylish cafe bar. Drinks are mostly in the 700〜900 yen range, so it didn't feel that expensive. During the day they seem to have proper sandwiches and sweets, but this time I came for the bar, so I didn't order any. 【Facilities】 Apparently the Wi-Fi is staff-only. Not recommended if you're thinking of working remotely. Darts available.

I ordered the Holiday Brunch(¥1000) and French Earl Gray(¥600)🍞 Fluffy, sweet French toast with peppery scrambled eggs inside. The sausage and asparagus on the side were well seasoned and delicious too! It looks cute, but it's pretty hearty! The Earl Grey also had a cleaner sweetness than usual and was easy to drink. Totally satisfied(^^) Also, the birthday plate was sooo! good! It looked and tasted amazing. The chocolate cake was super rich, and the little bear was cute too! The lettering was beautifully done too, so impressive~ The exterior and interior were both stylish — in a good way, it didn't feel like Hachioji^_^
