Visited on a weekday at 1 PM. This is a shop I've been curious about for a while. On this day, I ordered the large portion of "Small Shrimp Kakiage Soba." The soba itself was very satisfying, but what was particularly impressive was the sakura shrimp kakiage. When eaten as is, the aroma and light texture stand out, and when broken up and added to the dipping sauce, the sakura shrimp blends well with the soba, creating a great sense of unity in flavor. Also, the fact that salt is provided separately from the condiments left a good impression. By enjoying the kakiage with salt, I could feel the original aroma of the ingredients more clearly. Regarding the service, the polite response from the elderly female staff was impressive, and I was able to enjoy my meal in a calm atmosphere. On the other hand, considering the price, the amount of soba felt a bit modest. Even so, when I want to taste that sakura shrimp kakiage again, this is a shop I would definitely like to revisit.

The portion of soba is a bit underwhelming. If I have the chance next time, I'd like to order the kakiage or tempura!
View on GoogleThe small shrimp kakiage is delicious. The soba is also good as usual. The soba water is properly whitish and tasty. In conclusion, everything was delicious.
View on GoogleUsed for lunch. There was a variety of tempura such as seasonal fish and vegetables. I had the large seiro. I remember feeling a bit sad due to the puzzled response when I asked for a refill of condiments.
View on GoogleThis is the spicy daikon seiro and seasonal tempura platter (maitake mushroom, sweet potato, Shimonita leek, simmered daikon). It was Saturday after 1 PM and the soba was already sold out. There are many soba shops around Takao, but I think this is the most delicious one. Mugikado's tempura is also truly delicious, so please be sure to try it.
