View on GoogleSince we couldn't go anywhere during GW, we wanted to eat somewhere we normally wouldn't, so I looked for a place where they grill steak on a teppan right in front of you. I happened to find this one on the map, and since the atmosphere and quality looked promising, our family of 4 went for dinner. We ordered the meat and fish course in a private room. The appetizer salad and abalone, a soup chosen from 3 kinds — chilled fava bean and potato soup — fish chosen from 4 kinds — abalone and king crab — and for meat, fillet and sirloin, each of us chose. Everything was very delicious: the sirloin was so tender it melted in your mouth, yet the fat wasn't heavy, and the fillet was meaty but super tender. My daughter was smiling contentedly the whole time, and my son and wife kept saying how good it was. The finish was Japanese-style — jako rice, miso soup, and pickles — so for me it was a perfect close. While chatting with the chef, I mentioned we'd come for a family member's birthday, and without us even asking, they decorated the dessert — everyone was moved! It was such a thoughtful touch, and we got to spend a very satisfying, happy family time. The dessert brulee and sorbet were also the best.
View on GoogleWanting to enjoy an elegant teppanyaki meal, I visited Kawamura. The moment I opened the door I was greeted with a lovely smile, and inside was a magnificent teppan and an array of beautiful furnishings. For the meal, I had the special selection lunch course. Appetizers colorfully arranged on beautiful plates, fresh, sweet vegetables, steamed sea bream, steak, and beef shigure rice — everything was truly delicious! Watching the chef's skilled hands as each dish was made on the beautiful teppan, a feast for the eyes and the palate — a truly exquisite time. The chef had a refreshing personality, and the staff worked briskly too, so the service was top-class. After the meal, we moved to different seats for dessert time✨ We were able to enjoy dessert at a leisurely pace here too. The crème brûlée was rich and generous. The Shine Muscat was also very fresh. A wonderful place where every detail was taken care of.
View on GoogleAt Teppanyaki Kawamura, I had the wagyu and seafood dinner course (15,400 yen). You could choose from 3 soups, so I went with the chestnut potage. It had chestnuts in it too, and it was very elaborate and delicious. The fish dish was kinmedai with crispy skin and fluffy flesh. The miso-based sauce was very memorable — rich but not too heavy, an addictive flavor that kept my chopsticks moving. I also added sole and turban shell, and both were cooked perfectly, really bringing out the quality of the ingredients. The fluffiness of the sole in particular was impressive. For meat, the wagyu fillet, medium-rare. A great balance of tenderness and lean-meat umami, plenty satisfying even with simple seasoning. For the finish I chose beef shigure ochazuke. An elegant flavor that isn't too strong — perfect for the end of the course. I enjoyed every bite right to the end. Dessert was crème brûlée, ice cream, and strawberries. For a drink I had iced tea. It's served at a separate seat from the teppanyaki, so I could take my time right to the end. A highly satisfying course where you can fully enjoy both wagyu and seafood in a calm atmosphere. Also recommended for a special-occasion meal. Thank you for the meal♪
