Arrived before lunch on Saturday. Since there was no one there, I was told I could sit at a table. It has a Showa-era atmosphere, a true diner. I was tempted by the ramen + rice (¥750), but I ordered the Sapporo miso ramen and rice (¥920). The miso ramen was served first. One slice of chashu and a small amount of bean sprouts... haha. The flavor felt a bit thin, but it is miso flavor after all. The rice was served in a bowl, and for ¥200, it's a great deal! Later, a regular customer came to the counter. There were many delivery boxes, so maybe delivery is their main business. A diner loved by the locals. I hope they continue for a long time.
View on GoogleSapporo miso ramen + 1/2 fried rice (¥720+360)"... Well, the ramen wasn't the 'Sapporo style' I was hoping for... (laughs). The seasoning is a bit strong (I saw them put in 2 spoons), but the soup is nicely rich and the medium-thick noodles have a good chew, not bad♪ The meat topping (1 slice) was a bit tough... the stir-fried vegetables were fewer than I thought, so-so... And the 1/2 fried rice was a bit dry, not as bad as I thought, but it's a shame the 'burnt' taste was a bit strong...
View on GoogleSeptember 14, 2024 (Saturday) first visit at 1:50 PM. A town Chinese restaurant I've been curious about for a while. Inside, it's a small shop with 4 counter seats and 3 tables for 4. Run by an elderly couple. There were 5 previous customers (a group of 2 and a group of 3), and 1 customer after me. I ordered fried rice for 660 yen + large portion for 110 yen. It's the loose, dry type, with a bit of char, just the right amount of salt, a delicious old-school fried rice. The soup has a strong ginger kick and is a bit salty. The ramen might be a bit salty too. The fact that they have soba on the menu makes it feel like a real old-school diner. Regarding parking, information says there's 1 spot in front of Shimizu Elementary School, but I couldn't find it.
View on GoogleA nostalgic Showa-era shop. The menu is also extensive. 1/2 series, curry fried rice, ramen. It's ¥330. This time I'm going with the curry!
View on GoogleA retro ramen shop. Half fried rice and half ramen is a good combo, so I wish they had that set. The ramen is a bit saltier than usual. The fried rice is better because it's Chinese-style. The gyoza is pretty good. The prices are cheap, so it's a good shop.
