A Chinese restaurant in Takakura-chō, Hachiōji. My wife and I had lunch here. Alongside dumplings, we ordered the twice-cooked pork set meal and the mixed vegetable and tofu set meal. The set meals came with wakame soup, salad, and pickles. The taste was quite strong, which went well with rice, but it was too much for us, so we added vinegar. The dumplings were large and delicious. One soft drink is included with lunch. I think the price is a bit high compared to what you get. We might come back again.
View on GoogleAuthentic Chinese food made by chefs from its home country. Service is speedy and portions are large, so sharing and trying different dishes is fun too. There's a small drink bar as well. You can enjoy daily specials at lunch, and prices are lower on certain days.
View on GoogleExpensive for the restaurant's atmosphere and the food. In the end, the lunch set becomes the only option. The lunch set's quality is low for the price too. A large serving of rice is free, but the rice is yellowed, as if it had been left in the rice cooker for several days, and dry.
View on GoogleThe portions are on the small side and poor value for money. Even a large set menu is only about the size of a regular portion elsewhere. Some dishes differ drastically from their photos. The mala chicken karaage has only about 5 small pieces of edible meat. There's only enough chicken to fit in one hand. I don't intend to visit a second time.
View on GoogleMapo noodles with thick sauce 950円 Also ordered gyoza, fried liver, and ume sour Total 2500円 The mapo noodles had little thick sauce and tasted light. I thought the gyoza were on the light side too. The fried liver was crispy outside and fairly tasty. I'd like to try the stir-fried dishes and others too, but each plate costs more than a thousand yen, so I wished I could have smaller portions at a lower price.
